I had Cano in '96 - she was an amazing English teacher. Looking back, I recall her passion and how she knew her subject backwards and forwards. She brought Hamlet to life for me.
Nan is the best! I was a student of hers 20 years ago. I've never forgotten the way she connected and made this Dyslexic enjoy reading. If you aren't learning from her you aren't paying attention!
Selects favorites, and demeans those who don't share her extreme political/social viewpoints. Very unprofessional.
She is way too vague! She does mean well, but her emotions and passions cause her to do irrational things.
Trust me, switch out if possible. She seems good, but after you get D's on each major essay for no apparent reason, you wonder why youre in english 3ap.
I graduated from her Senior English class in 1989. Wish I had applied myself more. She was awesome. Yes, she was moody. Simply a product of her melancholy love of literature.
Ecentric, but she cares deeply about her students. Good Woman.
learning a lot about lit.. shes usually very nice.. watch out when shes angry
Had her for Senior English 17 years ago. I benefit from her teaching to this day.
Horrible teacher! She's biased, mean, and bi-polar. She grades according to how much she likes you (So if you're a guy, you'll probably get an A)
