The short story of Fabrizi-Miller. A cold unforgiving beast living on a mountain of students' grades she single handedly slayed. She sees the front of a classroom as her own personal little stage which she uses to throw her subliminal daggers at you. However, as interesting she might sound, she is a boring bland teacher who neither engages her students because they're her audience. Shes a prima donna and won't allow herself to come down from her castle to meet her students on their level.
Very bias teacher, have to do it her way or no way. Really unfair with grading, you can not "debate" for your points back in a test or essay. She will hold grudges. She is nice, but once she has an opinion you can not go against it, or your grade will suffer.
She is a wonderful person. She is so caring, understanding and respectful (given, of course, that you respect her in return) I'm so glad I had her, she taught me so much!
i really enjoyed her as a person. however, as a teacher, she has no idea what she is talking about, and if you don't agree with her she'll tell you you're wrong. you are not allowed to have a different writing style or different opion in her class. however, she is really understanding in every way. i would rather have been her friend than her student.
Mrs. Fabrizi-Miller is a great teacher. She is smart, and tries to get you to see things from a different perspective. She has tons of enthusiasm and wants you to care as much as her. While you're in school, you have the opportunity to use what's between your ears, so you should care. Some day you may not have the opportunity. Lighten up on the grades, that's not what it's about. When (if) you go to college, you will be a better critical thinker and writer because of her whether you realize it or not.
As much as I like her as a person, she is not a good teacher. She preaches effort, and yet she hands papers back three months after they were due. She neglects writing skills for the first half of the year, and grades brutally when things are not written "her way." She is so subjective and unclear in her teaching that you often have no idea what she actually wants; She babbles on all period, yet never instills a clear, concrete message. You walk out of her class confused, wondering what her point was. Sry.
She likes her job and has enthusiasm for it-that's great. But her grading system needs definite revision-the fact that a test is worth so much and homework is worth squat is unfair. Usually i can hand in a paper and feel confident that it will be graded fairly, but with her I feel like it depends on whether she's feeling generous or not.
I liked her... she's entertaining and very smart. I think most of the people on here are afraid of difference.. she's different, but quite interesting.
her class is easy..but she should LEAVE HER PERSONAL MATTERS AT HOME AND COME TO SCHOOL TO TEACH, NOT VENT!
What a teacher... Tells students they don't know their places in society. Can be downright nasty at times...watch out!
Dislikes answering questions, boring & overenergetic
