Triez knows what she is doing, but she is the most condecending b*tch I have ever had the displeasure of learning from. She calls out the students who don't understand things CONSTANTLY, and she ridecules them for not knowing. If you don't get something, do not expect her to help you out without at least 2-3 negative remarks first. Also, if you forget to do an additional snow day assignment she emails you, she gives you 0s on all your tests until you do it in front of her after school hours.
The Triez runs a tight ship; she expects the most out of every student and knows how to command a classroom. She's not the kind of teacher that will be your friend, which is exactly how a math teacher of her caliber should be. She'll ride you every single day if you're lazy or self-centered; and even though you'll hate every minute of it, by the end of the year you'll realize just how fantastic of a teacher she really is. Just stick with it.
BEST. TEACHER. EVER. She's so dedicated to helping her students succeed and is always there when you need help. If you work hard in AP Calc it will pay off!!!
While she is not necessarily a nice teacher, she is a very good one. She is the best at what she does, and everyone who takes the AP test is pretty much certain to pass it.
She is a great person and is dedicated. She comes in before school to help or after school. The class is very hard but since she is so helpful it can be simple if you chose to get the help.
She's a little different, once you get past that she's a good teacher. And congrats on making the AP board.
She is the most knowledgeable teacher I have ever had, and she knows how to articulate what she wants to get across. To be equally good at both things is rare!
Definately not my favorite person in the world, I hate that she's such a great teacher. You've just got to respect her, she taught her class so that when I sat down to the AP Calc test, It felt easy.
First impression: She seems like the class is all business and no fun. But I don't have any friends in there, so that doesn't matter. Plus I have a hard time with math, so maybe that'll help. AP Calc scares me!
Triez is the best math teacher I have had - even thru college! I had her back in the 90's and now I am a math teacher and think of her as my greatest influence. I introduced PI Day to my current school and still remember laughing to "whipping it around the x axis!" hahahahah
She is the best math teacher I've ever had. Even though her calc tests were hard, she made the real A.P. Calc test seem easy. She really knows her stuff!!
Not easy because AP Calc isn't easy. Probably the best math teacher I ever had. She get's the job done and really cares about her students. Homework helps.
I had a hard time in her class, but the AP test was easy.
All business in her class -- nothin' but math, math, and math. You need to do your homework!
She is probably the most qualified math teacher in the building in that she knows the material so well. but a joke every now and then wouldnt hurt anybody.
The Triez is awesome...I've never had a better math teacher. Do your work and she won't make you feel as stupid
Don't bother asking questions...she'll just humiliate you in front of the class!!!
Best teacher I ever had. AP test was easier than hers.
Knows her stuff. Makes you take good notes so you actually understand the lesson
Coolest lady and best teacher ever. Take the ap test, you will pass. I did.
