The best teacher you'll ever have. He is genuine, open minded and inspiring.
He is so freaking cool! He encourages the students to take charge in the class. He is very understanding.
i love Mr. Blom! I had him freshman year and he is really good! He really helps you grow and encourages discussion and particiption. Its English though, so you can't except a miracle!
As for hw, its ok, its not too bad, most of it is just reading and/or writing a paragraph about a question he asked.
He is so sweet and nice, at the end of the year, he gave my whole clas friendship bracelet he bought for us <3
He is not an understanding man at all. He has an extremely high ego and a passive aggressive personality. This teacher has been extremely rude to me even though I am an A average student. If a student is struggling he will kick him/her down instead of fostering their growth in his class. Not only is he obnoxious but his class is too. We waste more than 75% of his class discussing what the HW is. I have learned NOTHING from him and i cannot wait to get my AP credits and get out.
He's really fun and there's a LOT of work, but he can be nice about it. Also he's pretty cool.
TOO MUCH HOMEWORK and never clear about what the assignment really is so we end up doing pointless work. also lazy grader and everthing gets "paid in full"therefore no one actually TRIES to do well with the homework.
Mr. Blom is probably one of my favorite teachers. He is very knowledgable and passionate about what he does and allows room for individual thought and person. He works with you if you learn differently than others or have a disability as I do. He does assign a pretty heavy workload, but other than that, he is a good teacher.
He's been a great teacher so far. Whether or not you hate the lesson or the book you're reading in his class, he has a way of making it a good experience. He's a really good teacher and he's almost always very fair. We do tend to get a decent amount of work, however.
his class is just a complete fail. he has good intentions but nothing he tries to do ever works out. and he picks the most boring books EVER
I really dislike him not so much as a teacher, but just as a person. he's persnickety and compromises everything fun we do with restrictions. he also told us that when we write poetry its an exercise, not actual poetry. also tai chi. every morning
BEST ENGLISH TEACHER EVER!!!!! and yeah, a little less on the hw would be great. :) i've learned so much already and its only half way through the year.
A nice person but gives WAY too much homework and not very productive classes. Gives really pointless projects ... his envisions never really work on the class.
such a nice person but so annoying as a teacher gives WAY TOOO MUCH HOMEWORK! but he cares about us as people and sometimes he takes back homework. It would be better if he gave homework that was more useful instead of a lot of not so useful homework.
okay first a positive things about him: serious about his job, organized, seems like a decent person. AND NOW THE BAD THINGS: I don't find is curriculum interesting at all, we're not actually doing anything about improving our writing, we haven't done any creative writing so far at all besides writing ONE poem, ABOUT THE BIBLE! He gives SO much HW. Also, he ALWAYS makes sure to leave us an in-class essay when he's apsent. Seriously, it WOULD NOT **** anyone if he gave us a break once in a while!
he's the best english teacher I've had so far! :) he can be strict but he's great at teaching i com to him sometimes for him to explain things to me
hes a really nice guy, way too much homework, everyone gets 90s but me i guess hahahaha but i still got a much better grade than deserved.
he was my easiest class an easy 90s class. You dont really have to try at all.
He's a good teacher who really supports him students and can find brilliance in any idea that someone comes up with. He just gives to much homework and if you're late to class he flips out.
