Mr. Barrett is an extremely nice guy. However that's the problem, he is too nice. Sometimes he prioritizes on students who need a lot of help instead of his students that are in the middle range. I recognize the point of answering questions but if someone needs more help than normal they should stay after class and not inflict the learning time of the normal students. Also if you want to contact Mr. Barrett, talk to him in person. Don't expect responses to email.
Alright, so. Though not a bad person, he is an awful teacher. Nothing is ever explained, and when students ask for him to clarify, he repeats himself and never answers the questions. I had more help on google than ever raising my hand in that class. He has no idea how to talk to students or how to teach anyone. Thank god I never have to have that class again.
Relatively nice guy, but not intelligent. By all means he doesn't do a bad job with what he has to work with, but he can be a bit moody and isn't very good at teaching.
