The warmest and most effective mathematics teacher I had at Stuy. Ms. Pascu exudes a sense of good nature and personal stability, which finds expression in a loose yet intimate approach to teaching. She sticks to the curriculum and gives consistent homework assignments, but she is no stranger to the occasional digression, and a great personal humility, surely virtue of her rise from awkward immigrant to Princeton graduate, ensure a cognizance of students' struggles and a restraint from impositio
One of the best teachers I've had. Extremely helpful, knowledgeable, fair, and clear. Always willing to give extra help if you need it. Gives fair amount if homework every night and tests are hard but very fair.
I absolutely adore Ms. Pascu. I had her for trig last year and she's so kind and willing to help out her students. I found her tests pretty easy and she gave me a 100 for the 2nd and 3rd marking period! (:
Although I'm practically failing her class, Ms. Pascu is amazing!! She is always willing to help and is very supportive :) One of the most enthusiastic teachers I've met.
Ms Pascu is so sweet and excited about all things math. Her tests were a bit torturous, but she's able to distinguish between the ability of the student and that student's test scores.
Do good on her tests and get all extra credits and you should get like 100 average. Very pretty too.
She's amazing. I have her for math team and she does a great job explaining! She gives team meets every 2-3 days and they're extremely fun!
Well. actually. I don't like her teaching method. I personally think that she is disorganized and she doesn't explain very well. And i HATE her extremely hard tests. Maybe a nice person but not a grea
Absolutely Amazing, probably the best teacher i ever had. She's intelligent, knows what she's doing, and will always offer extra help for those who need it
She was one of the best teachers I ever had at Stuy. She's so approachable, and you can talk to her about anything in such a relaxed way. She's definitely somebody I'll see when I go back to visit.
Have her for trig, SOOO NICE OMG!!! Best math teacher i have ever had
i have her for bc, shes awesome i love her and her class her tests are pretty hard though
Goes through classwork fairly quickly if everyone gets it but isn't afraid to spend half a class period on one problem if someone needs clarification. Short homework (at least for algebra trig). Easy
I think she's one of the best teachers I've ever had. She's nice, intelligent, knows exactly what she is doing and will not hesitate to help with problems (although this tends to make her class very s
kind, nice, funny....needs slightly more skills in teaching.... but she's kinda young and not-so-experienced in teaching compared to other "old" teachers..(LIke geller haha) so i think she will become
She's very nice but lets be honest here, her teaching skills are mediocre. She tends to skim through problems and doesn't make it very clear because she doesn't give notes. Her lessons aren't very org
Tests can be tough, but she's a really awesome teacher. She's nice, and you can always talk to her about anything. She even personally asked me to transfer into her class...and I did.
Best teacher I had in stuy. Tests can be hard but she gives very high grades.
Ms. Pascu is an amazing teacher and I love her to death. She is without a doubt my most favorite teacher at Stuy. She's very caring and helpful if you ever need help. Also she is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!
hey i have a question to those who already had pascu, how much does participation matter?
Absolutely love her, love her to death! One of the best math teachers, and makes certain everyone understands before moving on.
She takes her time to help and make sure we know the material. And shes adorable.
Hard tests, but she curves! She's amazing. I love her.
She is an amazing teacher, the only problem is that she makes the tests a little hard by accident...
best teacher i've had. never had much of a problem with her tests and she took time outside class to help me. her inner
She is an incredibly nice teacher. I love her class, she's awesome!
Ms. Pascu is one of the most amazing people you'll ever meet. She really loves her students and deeply cares about Math. Since she graduated from Brooklyn Tech, she basically knows what we go through.
she's so NICE. i love her. she CARES about her kids too, u can ask her for help anytime. the workload's ok, the exams are KILLER. makes u love math.
Ms. Pascu is an amazing teacher and among the nicest people I have ever met. She cares about her students and treats you kindly and with respect. In her class, you can love math without feeling nerdy.
She's EXTREMELY nice. I always make the biggest mistakes on tests but she gives me so much partial credit. she doesn't make anyone feel left out, even those who just transferred into honors. She makes sure everyone understands
suuper nice. always tries to help and wont move on til every1 understands. moderate amount of hw. tests can be pretty evil but if u can do the do nows ur good. if u dont get test ques, dont leave it blank b/c shell give cred
I haven't had her as a teacher for very long so far, but I am so glad I am in her class. She is a really nice teacher who is motivating and makes me love math again.
i LOOOOOOOOOOOVED her!!!!!!! shes sooooooo nice! altho her tests r a bit hard due 2 the time limite, but those questions r more like trick questions. so if u get it, u can do it really fast. plus she grades really nicely
She's great. She teaches the main stuff extremely well and includes extra problem solving and extra deep-math insights. She's a perfect honors teacher.
she REALLY needs to get more organized. Her honors classes don't feel like honors classes, everything she teaches isn't that hard. But her tests are incredibly long for the given time limit. I would rather have had rubinstein
AWESOME teacher to have. Fun classes to be in. Tough tests to get by tho. Techie...haha...Ms. Pascu is so nice, just don't whistle in her class. LMAo
Cool. She is fine for precal but was better for MQ5/6.
she teaches well and her homeworks are easy. it's the tests that are unfair. she puts random stuff on it and stuff she EXPECTS you to figure out in like 5 minutes (considering the number of questions on the test/time limit)
There is no way you can say ANYTHING bad about Ms. Pascu. She is the nicest, most caring teacher I have every and will ever have. She is brilliant too!
she might be a good person, but shes a HORRIBLE teacher, and she plays favorites
She's so pretty and nicee. She helps a lot too. and WOW a Princeton graduate. that's very inspiring =)
Ms. Pascu! Simply perfect - really. Tests are hard... but just do your work... and eventually you'll figure out the essence of those tests... LISTEN in class... PARTICIPATE... and ASK QUESTIONS... VERY HELPFUL! VERY!
I have never in my life done homework for a teacher. I did it every day for Ms. Pascu. She is interesting, funny, pretty, and you can tell she really cares about her students. Altogether, she's a joy of a teacher.
Her tests may be hard... but without a doubt she is the smartest, nicest, best person at Stuy if not the best person I've every met. If you are good at math you will do well in her class and she will like you.
lol tech graduate she doesn't force you to participate in class, so thats cool
Really nice but she can't really teach an entire class. If you don't understand something though, she will definately help you- she can teach well individually.
very nice, she actually takes the time to answer your problems if you ask. she just wants consistent hw and participation, the only problem are her exams/quizzes which are veryhard
Nice, interesting (for math, that is) and not too much work.
Horrible tests. Confusing. But really nice. And pretty.
