I had him for sociology last year, and his class was a joke. We just did worksheets, book work, and watched videos. The study guides were word-for-word what was on the test, AND he gave you a notecard which, if you were smart, would copy the whole study guide onto. I took so many naps in that class and still ended up with a 98 year average, only because he would mark down on projects. That class was a waste of my time, but it did help my gpa
He doesn't give much information and when you ask a question the answer is vague most of the time he repeats himself which results in dull lectures
Mr. O'buck was an awesome teacher. Really relaxed and made making a good grade in his class really easy. Always brought up interesting topics and included everyone in his class
I came to Mr. O' Buck's class as a transfer student. My first AP Gov teacher was extremely helpful, clear, productive, and did not relied so heavily on the textbook but rather allowed the students to get involved in class instructions and lessons. Mr. O' Buck on the other was the exact opposite. We basically wrote down the book as notes. He wasn't helpful and talked extremely slow and he seemed uninterested in what he was doing. I was ecstatic about AP Gov until I had him.
uhhhhhhhh ummmmmmmmm *pace pace pace* completely clueless, his notes are terrible, the tests are hard, and don't even think about turning in something even a minute late. didn't enjoy this class at al
coming to class is always a lot of fun. great teacher :)
he doesn't always know what he's talking about and he can't finish complete sentences. he cuts you no slack if you forget an assignment. his class is easy, but the tests are very hard. read the book.
He's a little weird and seems to get off topic a lot. He only likes the kids that are in advanced classes. Ryan Chinn
Hes a good teacher but he has no problem giving out work. He makes college seem rough
I was a sophmore when i took his class...and really...if you do not do well, its because you are a freshman who thinks you know everything...great guy&class!
