People are clearly not understanding that it is a Spanish class.. obviously she will be speaking Spanish.. the only way people will learn the language is if one is immersed in the language. She teaches great culture and teaches people about what is actually going on in the Hispanic world. Brings good diversity. Yes it's hard work but it's worth it. The beginning might be tough but it's easy to get a hang of her teaching methods. And she is definitely always willing to help whenever one asks!

She's an extremely hard teacher, but she is willing to help if you put in the effort to receive the help. She only speaks Spanish--which I think is a good thing considering she teaches spanish. I think entering her class there is an initial shock at the fact that there is no English, but it's for the better and take her class if you are willing to work and push yourself. I take her Spanish 4H class and I'm pushed but in the long run it's for the better.

I could have learned more about spanish standing on the sidewalk outside of a hardware store. She does not understand that teachers are supposed to be objective when disscusing political issues. awful

while the class isn't impossible, since she's a native speaker she thinks it's really easy and you should understand things right away and she sometimes gets frustrated when you don't.

I'm in a pretty easy class so I'm not having much trouble, but I can see how she might be unclear otherwise. She's a bit to patriotic with regards to Columbia.

I think Señora needs to realize that sometimes what she says isn't what she means, and she needs to figure out how to say what she means... extra credit project and optional project are two VERY different things...

I think Sra Moreno is the best language teacher I've ever had. I love the fact that she doesn't speak english as her first language, it makes learning spanish easier to be taught by someone who speaks the language that well, and it forces you to learn!:)
