Omar is hands down my favorite teacher I've ever had. He is so nice and funny, you don't even realize you're learning. He is absolutely fabulous.

I LOVE Mr. Bances but Music App. was one of my hardest classes sophomore year! Lots of tests and quizzes so do the extra credit, it helps, A LOT.

If it weren't for Bances, I wouldn't be as great of a musician as I am today. I don't know what went down in Band this year, but everyone will truly miss him.

Mr. Bances is a good teacher. People have to understand how hard it is to give every student in band individual attention. People need to take responsibility for themselves, he is there to guide us, not to make us get better when we don't put in any effort. He cares about the students, and although this year he was being difficult, he is only doing it for the best. He wants his students to improve and to take responsibility.

Mr. Bances is the greatest music i ever had- and almost the only. I learned how to play music and understand it. Jazz band was cool...what happen to it now? It's not jazzy.

mr. b was awesome for beginning band. i actually learned how to play and read music. i would seriously recommend to take beginning band instead of music appreciation. it's much easier.

Even though his temper can occassionaly flare up, I thank him for finally helping the concert band obtain a superior. It wanted to have a superior before I left
