I had her for English 1H and although the class was hard and I didn't like doing the grammar every Tuesday, I really learned a lot and improved my writing. She is really passionate about teaching English and her lectures can be interesting.

Some kids don't like her because she's hard but the stuff she teaches is very helpful and you'll be fine as long as you pay attention and do the work. Also, she accepts NO late work.

"You're an honor student and this is what you signed up for" is her excuse. Even with all the studying and effort, she grades on the technicalities of your work over the quality, making it difficult. People say she's like a easier Arias, but considering that the highest grade someone has in Arias right now is a 98 and the highest someone has in Booth is 94 (most people have low grades), I think they are both equally hard. The difference is that Booth's a total pain. Class is bs.

wow i can't believe that i actually survived a whole year with her in english 1 honors. i thought from the first week of school that i would die. but her class helped me a lot with essay writing (basically making up bs) and i'm like the master bs-er now. she can be really strict at times and her piercing eyes just scare the hell out of you.

Had her for 2nd semester due to changing schedule for sports. Great teacher! Although her class is quite challenging (after all it is an honors class) she teaches very well and makes sure everything is clear!

Our son got to her class in the middle of the year from another good teacher. He said that while he had to do much more work and live in a strict environment, he learned a lot in her class, more than in all his previous classes. She is hard but fair. She really teaches you. He is looking forward to taking her in a Junior year.

if you participate and spend time on hw, such as essays, the class is do-able. somehow 1st semester was alot harder for me than 2nd semester. But if you try, you'll get a good grade.
