I had Pat for Commercial Art and AP Studio Art from 1994-1998. He encouraged me to develop my talent, introduced me to a huge array of mediums, join the Artifex art club, helped me with my AP test prep, wrote letters on my behalf, and helped me get a full ride scholarship to the University of Utah. His classroom was fun, always had good music playing—always a sanctuary for an awkward teenager. Pat always went the extra mile for his students. I owe the success in my profession to his guidance.
