In a word - AWFUL. Rude, miserable teacher. Should not have a teaching license.
Knows her stuff but can not teach. Makes to many mistakes for teaching math
as some one else said she is a math teacher... nothing more to it. its a boring subject, but she still did a good job. her test were too difficult though.
Even after college, she's one of the best teachers I've ever had. Her classes were the rare, truly challenging, ones that I had to put actual effort into. She taught me more than just math.
I feel that Ms. Balfe is both an excellent and meticulous teacher. She is challenging but all of that work eventually pays off and that is what I believe is her intention. Out of all of my math teachers she is the best of the best.
Ms. Balfe is simply amazing. Though she grade harshly sometimes thats no reason to dislike her. She knows what shes doing and is excellent at it. She also gives multiple ways to score extra credit
I had her for 2 years and it took me almost a whole year to realize what a great teacher she is. Its not easy to earn an A but if you do you work hard you can. Shes a very smart and helpful teacher.
I was an A student in math since the seventh grade. Except when I took Balfe for Calc. Even with immense amounts of studying and trying, I still got C's. Avoid the class.
Good teacher but grades way to harshly. If you want to pass than you should be ok, but if you want anything above an 80 avoid taking her classes. Calc- don't take it!!!
I love you ms. Balfe. You rock my world. I live for your take homes.
Well, precalc itself is not easy, but ms. balfe does make it a little more confusing with her mix-ups. She does try to help when you need it and overall is good
