i had her freshman year; so glad i cut everyday. she taught me nothing and pretty much told me one day that i would never add up to nothing. i hated her; so glad she retired so no1 has to suffer through her again.
One of the nicest teachers I've had. She doesn't give a lot of work, but teaches very well. A great teacher overall.
Way better sophomore year, and after doing practice regents, I must say that her class makes us very well prepared
Even tho she gives a lot of work and is boring at times, I did learn a lot from her, and she liked me, so I think she was a good teacher.
I went from Corini to Collins, and that was a nightmare! She is based on the textbook, and all we do is read out loud and do worksheets.
I went from Corini to Collins...what a nightmare! The outline forces you to read the chapter, but she is terribly boring. I am never majoring in history...EVER!
Mrs. Collins might be strict and talk about college all the time, she is very helpful when it comes down to it. I loved her and I wish I had her again.
She's really not that bad, especially when you discover you really know a lot more about history than your friends in other classes.
She prepares you for the Regents, but she's a very plain and boring teacher.
If you're willing to learn she's awesome, but if you're lazy you'll get what you deserve. Go Mrs. C!
While Mrs. Collins was a good teacher if you wanted to learn and do well on the regents (i got a 95), she was not a very fun teacher.
if you're not ready to work.. watch out.. mad cool tho b/c she can insult you, and you wont even know it shes so smart
thanks for giving me a D.. 96 on the regents.. maybe she should learn how to teach
mrs. collins is sooooo boring.. i'm sorry to anyone who gets her as a teacher. she doesn't teach anything, all you do in class is read handouts outloud..
she is a really nice person and we do interesting projects
