I personally, did not like Ms. Dallen's teaching, it was exceedingly hard to follow and I really had to study on my own in order to do well in the class. I'm usually very good at math, but I just had no idea what she was talking about half the time. However, she does care about her students and I honestly did appreciate that :) She's great at what she calls "private tutoring" but in class she can't control anything that's going on. She's a good person, but a not so good teacher.
She can not give examples correctly, and she can not control her class. She thinks she knows what she's teaching, but in reality no one understands her at all. My least favorite teacher of all time.
It's obvious to see Mrs. Dallen cares about her students being successful and offers help, but is an awful teacher when it comes to explaining and controlling the class. Last year the other students i
Ms.Dallen is a good teacher, and she tries to make her classes upbeat. If you don't do your homework or study- then you will complain. She is very helpful and cares about her students. Make sure to go
Ms. dallen is a very good teacher. She makes sure that every student knows the material. I was very prepared for the EOC.
I LOVE MS. DALLEN. she is the best teacher at east! i learned so much from her and she was always willing to help me.
As a parent, I found her upbeat, helpful, encouraging, and fair. She knows her subject and relates well to students. She is a wonderful teacher with good ideas for explaining challenging concepts.
she is very helpful and a sweet lady. always wanting to help. not bad as everyone says she is
Great teacher. A lot of people don't like her because they don't understand the way she teaches. But she really cares about students, and will keep explaining until everyone gets it. I admire that.
Though her class teaching is ,in my opinion, vague, I find her to be helpful in that she always stays after school and most of lunches to tutor anyone who is falling behind.
I think deep down, Ms. Dallen really is a nice person who cares about her students. But seriously, she CANNOT teach worth a crap, is easily frustrated with unruly students, and says things she probabl
For the first quarter it is very hard to get along with Ms. Dallen but once you actually get to know her and her teaching style her class becomes much easier. She is a wonderful person that is misunde
I personally loved Ms.Dallen and I passed her class with a 98 average. Even though she seems a little senile at times she really is a great teacher and she gives so much 1-on-1 tutoring. Love her!
I love Ms. Dallen! She is very helpful and offers lots of extra credit.
I dont know if i ever did anything to her but i felt like she was kinda mean. Her teaching needed some improvement but she was very understanding when you had a concern.
Good person, but the actual teaching could be improved.
She is an amazing teacher. People give her a hard time but she really cares about all of her students. She makes sure everyone understand the material. She so nice she wrote me college recommendations
she is a nice person outside of class, but I find reading the textbook more helpful than listening to her in class, and a tip that future student of hers should use: do your homework during class
She is old, and sometimes does not know how to think straight. She doesn't try to fail you, but she gives too much homework. She also blames a lot on dyslexia when she writes wierd on the board
She gives good assignments/tests and a fair workload, but is not very good at math and can be very repetitive. As earlier stated, she blames mistakes on dyslexia.
Personally, I think Mrs. Dallen has an unfairly bad reputation. She's a genuinely caring person who will try whatever it takes to help you understand the subject. Many students just don't ask her to.
I really don't understand the negativity. Class was fairly hard (with constant assignments) but she has a great heart. If you're having trouble, talk to her and she'll do everything she can to help!
Really nice person. Join OC and math team. Has a good heart, tries to help students.
She was an easy teacher. She had easy work and test. But, she did not grade things very accurately. She obviously did not know the subject very well. And, she blames her own mistakes on "dyslexia"
she is a great Algebra 1 teacher. she helped me alot. she may be kinda out there at times, but she helped me understand the subject to its fullest. i hope to have her again.
She is a really nice person and if always offering to help a struggling student to the best of her ability. However, she may have "run out of steam" as a teacher. But she is kind
She's a really nice person, and is always willing to help. However, she isn't what I would call even close to the best math teacher at East.
Nice person in general. But she does not seem to understand the subject or does not know how tho explain it all that well
Very nice person, and a good teacher but some of her teaching styles are a little, well...
Nice person but her teaching style is reminiscent of 2nd grade...
Sorry, I refuse to hear life lessons from someone who is a high school math teacher. Treats students like little kids, with a disposition towards phoniness.
i think she is a very nice person but is seriously lacking as a teacher
Decent teacher, but if don't have to be in her class, get out.
