Ms.Gulitti may come off as uptight when you first meet her, but she's really just strict and specific about the way she wants things done. I had her freshman year, and she gave homework every night, but it was only 20-30 minuets per assignment. She really stresses participation in her class, which I personally find to be a helpful skill. She is a wonderful and intelligent person who does all she can to build your studying skills and prepare you for exams.
i have mixed feeling....... in beginning of the year i felt like she purposely failed me to get me to go to extra help. a lot of her instructions were useless and she forced us to make index cards which killed a lot of trees and wasted time. I only used them ONCE. by the end of the year, I realized that she is strict but she is an ok teacher. PARTICIPATE A LOT IF YOU HAVE HER TO GET ON HER GOOD SIDE.
She seems strict but that enforces your willingness to pay attention and participate in her class. She goes over every little detail of the chapter you read last night and reviews literary terms so often that it grows on the backside of your head. If you listen well and participate in her class, you're guaranteed to succeed.
Extremely knowledgable and clear in her explanations. Always makes sure you are prepared for tests and will give you ample time for assignments. Sometimes is strict but trains your sense of discipline, responsibility, work ethic. Always gets a lot done in class and has her stuff together. By far the best english teacher I've ever had.
She does the most useless things and is probably the only teacher in the whole district who does a participation grade
I didn't like her at first, but she grew on me. There's a lot of HW, but the tests are easy. Personally, I think she's the best english teacher.
She is the best ELA teacher omg!! and her tests are soo easy, you just have to try hard.
I love Mrs. Gulitti! She is the best English teacher I have had in Jericho! <3 She is an amazing teacher. Yeah, her work may be hard at times, but if you do a good job then it will be worth it in the end.
She is a great person and you will be extremely prepared for the AP. Do your work and you'll be fine.
A lot of home work, hardest 9th grade ELA teacher but she lets you redo papers and her tests are really easy
pros- easy tests lets you redo assaingments cons- lots of HW you have to participate
she assigns a lot of HW and forces you to participate but her tests are really really easy
great as a person, not so much as a teacher she gives way to much work and fails to recognize the enormous amount of pressure placed upon the student. especially in 11th grade. she does not acknowledge the fact that her class is not the only important one.
Her class is a little bit hard, you NEED to participate, and ask questions if you don't understand. But, she is an amazing teacher, and personally one of my favorites.
she is AWESOME. I have her for two years in a row and I hope I get her again next week! she makes us work hard but shes definitely one of the best teachers I've ever had!
I had her at another high school, and I absolutely loved her! I am an English teacher in a middle school myself now, and she was so inspirational! Jericho High is so lucky! She gives a lot of work to prepare you!!
shes really sweet but, she gives way to much HW and its had to do it all so it gets a lil annoying i cant denie that. But, she is a GREAT person no argues there
shes ok, but she assigns too much work. She expects a lot which I guess can be an ok thing but she didnt give us any transition. august 31- we went right into work, no time toRELAX
she is a good teacher , somewhat easy in the beginning but now i have no idea
She's such an amazing person-inside and outside the classroom... she really helped me grow as a person...
She is an O.K. teacher. She does a lot of extra work for us
