Any foreign language class comes with a certain level of difficulty, but I learned more in Mrs Pnewski's class than in any of my previous Spanish classes. She may be a bit confusing when explaining things sometimes, but she is willing to take the time to help anyone that asks. Homework is assigned on most days, but it only takes roughly 10 minutes to complete and it's a nice review of what was covered in class. Mrs Pnewski has been a wonderful teacher and I hope she enjoys her retirement! :)
Let's just say it's a good thing she is retiring this year! She was OK to deal with as a parent, but I think she lacks passion for the subject matter. She's not what I'd call enthusiastic, and that comes across loud and clear to her students. I hope the dept can find a replacement with a little more excitement, so the students develop a love for the language!
I'm currently taking her Spanish 3 class. She take years to put in grades. Put unkown tenses on homework. Explains meaning horribly and gets frustrated if you ask too many questions.. WORST Spanish teacher I have ever had. DONT TAKE SPANISH FROM HER
just a straight up b**** least favorite teacher ive ever had
Her class was hard. And I'm a good student who gets all her work done and pays attention. She really doesn't help you too much if you are having trouble keeping up with the material, although she REALLY knows what she is teaching. It's just her teaching style. WORD OF ADVICE: Maintain respect for any teacher, even if they are not your favorite. It can really help in the long run, even if you don't pass the class with an A.
She doesn't actually teach the class; she just assigns pointless busy work, so that it's impossible to learn anything. I did not like the class, nor her "teaching" style.
