She never grades your assignments on time so if you start out with a bad grade, you're more than likely to finish the quarter with that grade. If you don't do assignments exactly correct, she tosses out zeroes. Hard to understand and gives the least amount of instructions when she wants the most detail. She's frustrating sometimes.
She was definitely tough, but in the end she does help pass the course.
she can be very strict, and a bit grumpy sometimes. I really enjoyed her AP language class tho. I learned alot about writing and preparing for college english. Pay special attention to her "bible" because those words are really important in ap literature. Overall good experience in her class.
She has such a bad attitude most of the time and makes a student scared to ask for help. She definitely has her favorites.
She was one of my fav teachers! I just love her! She was just an awesome teacher! Couldn't have asked for a better teacher :]
Excellent teacher. To be honest, she wasn't my favorite for the better part of the school year, but I came to understand that EVERYTHING she taught us was essential to passing the AP exam. I got a 5!
Ms. Simmon's has no disregard for any of your children. She always changes her lesson plans and never is constant with her grading the timed writes my child does.
She's a great teacher! She really prepares you for college! That can't be said for all teachers! You write papers for her and all you do in college is write!
She hid out in her office the whole class period, when she taught she spent most of the time yelling for not taking notes. She doesnt care about teaching.
i loved mrs simmons, i had her for AP so it was hard, but i got A's and passes the AP test, she was so friendly, granted i was her little pal, but she rules!
I guess she was ok when she actually thought?? less than a week
