all i can say is when she tell you to read a story from the book READ IT, because the next day you get popped quizzed.... my grades have failed drasticly because i would forget to read... they are gimme grades, use them
I didn't like her when I had her (except for her personality... she's so funny), but looking back, she was one of the best English teachers I've had. I wish I would've had her for AP.
Amazing teacher! Mrs. Stevenson is so nice. If you ever have any questions about anything she will help you without a doubt. She helps me with my papers outside of school and she can help with personal advice as well.
I've always liked her humor. You can talk to her about anything.
Terrible teacher, unfair, stubborn, unclear, uninformed, annoying, obnoxious, the list goes on
Stevenson could be really nice and also really mean, and often unfair. She accused me of plagiarism and tried to give me a 0 on a paper I spent a week writing.
students should rate teachers on thier own expeirence not what "I heard" This is honors class. It should be harder than other classes
Mrs. Stevenson, although extremely helpful, is an adamant feminist and strictly requires you to write her way or suffer. A veteran in the field yet can be shaky
greatly underestimated. despite the grades...that's our own grave we dug, she gives us plenty of opportunities to get help or extra attention.
Great lady, but I didn't learn much. You don't have to read the novels to get an A in her class, which is sad.
i dont know, throwing a calculator at a kid isn't very professional.
it would be nice to actually get a paper back once and a while or have more that 6 grades on a nine weeks
she wasn't the greatest teacher ever, but she called us scumbuckets and put our lives in danger every day. that made it fun.
