Oh my god! I miss you Madame! You were more laidback and easier than this year's new French teacher. I get that he's fresh out of college+studied in France, but he takes French too seriously. I miss your songs+projects. All we done with Monsieur is writing+textbook. But on the bright side, he gives less homework and really easy homework on quia.
Madame has a reputation for being a strict and unforgiving teacher. My freshman year, she scared me to death. But after two years in that class, I can say that she is a great teacher, and once you ge to know her, super nice as well.
She is strict during class and doesn't have much patience with her students. But outside of class she is much nicer and more helpful when you can talk with her one on one
WHY YOU SO MEAN ? you always pick on me and im one of your better students ): . dang this - i have another year to spend with you . boohoo .
i am in french 2 at the moment and i plan to take all 4 years just because of the awesome teacher she makes french class fun you sing songs and sure the projects are hard but if you keep up then you wont have a problem just remember Jeter le chewing à la poubelle avant la classe that way you dont have to scrape gum of of her desks
She shows up late daily, but her teaching is good. The annoying thing: her constant asinine projects. On the good side, she tolerates a degree of casualness in her class, as well as the occasional (very "occasional") intelligent discussion. Funny incident though. Madame: "The biggest difference in English for the adjectives to have either "more" or "-er" added is size. 2 syllables gets "-er", 3 gets "more." Me: "What about hostile?" Madame: "Uh... that's one exception." I named another exception after...
Madame est chouette. Not HYPER chouette or anything, but choeutte at least. She can be a bit disorganized but we have to take in to consideration she is the ONLY french teacher and she does have French Club and IRC to worry about.
Madame is an awesome teacher. But it takes her too long to organize things at the beginning of the class. She is funny sometimes.
Madame knows what she's talking about and knows French well, since she has lived there for some time. Her teaching method is superb. I don't think there could be a better French teacher. She gives many projects though. One of the things I don't like about her is that she likes to bash on Americans and English. When something new and unusual pops up, you may hear her give some sort of far fetched explanation and say something like, ...and this is why French is normal, but English (or Americans) is wierd.....
Madame is a great teacher. You make not like how she conducts class or how she treats you when you don't do your homework or don't pay attention.....but she does a great job of teaching and she cares about her students individually. That's what a high school teacher should do.
this lady is awesome as a person, kinda rough as a teacher.she has so much to say,and shes so funny!if ur late on a project, she still accepts it,its great.ask her about hitch hiking
Madame Caine is soooo smart. You'll learn TONS in her class, and some of the time, it's not even about French! She knows so many languages and tons of degrees.
great teacher, knows how to teach and help her students
One of the best overall teachers you'll encounter at STHS. I spent four years in her French class, and I came out learned so much - not only just about the language, grammar, and culture - but also skills that have helped me in every other aspect of life.
