A teacher whose interest in a subject really showed. It was great how he was able to compare the past to the present and find repeats from history. I learned a lot and actually remembered what I had learned!! My only regret is that when he clearly showed interest in getting to know me, I did not return him the favor. I really hope he enjoys his retirement and that I see him soon!! I'm going to miss you Dr. Lampman.!!
This guy is definitely one of the stand-outs in SHHS. Don't let his weirdness stop you from taking ToK! It's an awesome course and Lampman will push you out of your comfort zone. Think of it as an int
LAMPMAN IS AN AMAZING TEACHER. i have learned so much in his class and really enjoy talking to him. he's such an intelligant man.
calls people inappropriate names, hand on shoulder.. EEEK. the only good thing about his class was that he had lots of extra credit.
I had him as a teacher several years ago, and I think he was a great person to talk to. He challenged his students to think beyond the obvious and tried to encourage us to grow in our intelligence. I
he is the most amiable human being on earth. he is an enigma . you may say he not but all i will say is that conviction is the luxury of those at the side lines
lampman is a good teacher. he is really nice and friendly. but you must be on his good side.
he MUST be the WORST TEACHER EVER. pray that you don't have him. he's so unfair. MAJOR FAVORITES. and i mean major! >.< can you tell i'm not one of his favorites??? haha
failing the ap test = inevitable. his hand on your shoulder during every conversation = inevitable. a day without him saying "COPIOUS NOTES" = inevitable
one time i was sitting down before class started and he walks up to me takes my hat off and drops it on the floor then walks away. i don't understand why he would do such a thing, i wasn't even a trouble maker. he shows a lot of favortism to the girls. it's very difficult to respect him as a teacher and a person. his actions don't make him seem Christian either. it seems he needs a lot of prayer.
Nice guy, and he's totally there to help if you ever need it. but it definitely depends if your a girl- or if you're pretty.
he needs new teaching techniques. all his works are busy work, nothing really useful for the ap test.
One word of advice, go to the college tours! it well help u more then a few A's on ur chapter tests
Dr. Lampman is an acquired taste. Not everyone can get used to him.
great teacher. great guy...homework doesnt count everything is determined by tests
Very organized and expects students to be prepared and participate. Always available to help and very encouraging.
he's such a bad teacher! he doesn't even teach...all he does is make up take 10000 of notes off the overhead! soo pointlesS
He's easy to approach for help. However, I didn't think that his teaching methods were effective (taking copious notes off of a dying overhead projector).
Write five pages in the 3 minutes...Ascertain what the question is saying...Take copious notes. He has a nasally voice and doesn't prepare well for APs.
