He is a very knowledgeable and passionate teacher. His lectures are fascinating, however he is a difficult grader and sometimes very harsh when it comes to assignments. He is not very approachable about extra credit or anything other than questions about a specific time period.

Although he is knowledgeable, he is NOT a very compassionate or approachable teacher. If he could care about his students half as much as he does his subject, he would shine. Many students feel as if they would be better off taking an online class or just taking a final since they end up teaching themselves as it is.

Great teacher, very knowledgeable, makes learning fun, and always has interesting stories. His class is no joyride though. Very challenging.

He is an alright teacher and knows his stuff, but he is not very approachable. He has mood swings and that affects his classes most of the time. Overall, it was a hard class b/c he is very opinionated
