One of the best teachers I've ever been fortunate enough to have. Don't expect things to be easy. I really learned how to figure things out for myself/communicate my ideas to others by taking his class.

Had him for AP & neuro. B-AP A-neuro. Doesnt believe in APs & class reflects it. discussion-based class worked for me & changed my thinking for the better. Would take any class he teaches.

maybe not the best teacher but you'll still learn a ton from his class. i enjoyed every day of ap bio last year and every day of neuro this year. if you need someone to talk to hes always there.

He doesn't teach, but you learn a LOT in his class nevertheless and his class style is quite beneficial. I love the articles -- they really enhance your knowledge of biology, even though some of them are tedious to read. The weekend quizzes become regular. As DC says, you don't learn biology in his class, you learn how to be a good student. (And I personally think that yes, you do learn biology as well -- it's a good combination) He's also very quick at responding to your e-mails very quickly.

Yeah, Dr. Cammer doesn't sit there and talk at you like other teachers. But has anyone ever been board in his class? Cammer asks you to think, and helps you to do that. He's easy to approach and trusts the students. No one would dream of cheating in his class whatever people may say (the ones who say people cheat are the ones who don't study and fail). He answers questions that need to be answered, but lets the students lead--that way our questions are answered. A++!!

I've had him 2years. He's a REALLY cool guy, but a lazy teacher. You are well prepared for the ap if you take his class, but HE himself doesn't really help that much. Most of his quizzes are online, which means most people cheat on them. he favors girls a lot. He's actually not that hard if you put in your work time.

Cammer is LAZY. He pretends to give his students "opportunities" to teach with the "class leader" business but really he just doesn't want to teach himself. Don't be fooled by his spiels on independence the man is just LAZY. Very disrespectful, walked out during a girl in my IBET's final presentation to answer the phone. Has pretended on occasion to be asleep during lunch though he was awake.

he needs to understand that everyone cheats in his class and he does nothing about it, which leaves the kids who dont cheat at a disadvantage for the curve
