Apparently Mr O`Connor is a highly educated man. I think he is dedicated and well meaning, unfortunately many people like him lack common sense. Burying students with homework is not the way to go. He needs to understand that there are other things in life besides school work. Guys need to socialize and be involved in sports or clubs. Students do not get enough sleep which then makes them sick and they miss school. Can we find some common sense somewhere?
Mr O'connor is a genius- by far one of the smartest teachers in the school. He has the largest vocabulary out of any individual I have ever known. Vocab tests and grammar tests are very straightforward. Most of your grade is essays, so you HAVE to do well on them. He gradelocks people on their essays, but he gradelocks some people at really high grades (some people are gradelocked at 100!). So do well in the beginning of the year: use complicated grammatical structures and vocabulary.
O'Connor is the man. Reading quiz once a week. Ask fellow students if there is a quiz. Rambles about politics regularly. You can sleep if you want to. Take him.
He is very very smart. He is helpful with essays. He gives fair grades for essays. He likes everyone and helps everyone. He gives a lot of notes to the students.
Great teacher with a good grasp on course material. A little boring at times, though he tries to relate current events to the class. Always approachable and a fairly decent grader on essays.
Great teacher, never needs to yell because he respects students and they respect him. Genuinely cares about education.
You are way to dry for me. How boring can you make a class period?
P' OC is the MAN! i had him last year for CP Lit. He's brilliant and genuinely cares about educating his students unlike some teachers.
Difficult class if you decide to not do the work, but everything is very straightforward so if you listen to him and do it you can get by simply. Amazing man and teacher.
For once the majority of my fellow reviewers have it right: this guy is an AWSOME teacher and is absolutely brilliant
Perfect example of a teacher: kind, very approachable, EXTREMELY intelligent, dont sit and laugh when he goes on a rant, LISTEN this guy knows what hes talking about, likes swimming a lil 2 much jk
The best teach I've had at Don Bosco, by far. Looking forward to having him next year.
In my sons entire academic career, he learned the most from Mr. O'Connor. Thank you.
The greatest teacher I have ever had. A brilliant man and a great guy. Even when his jokes arent the greatest, he still pulls them off with a certain wit. He gave up a chance to pursue law to teach, and we are all lucky for it
This is the greatest man ever. He knows everything about anything. He knows his stuff. Pay attention and you'll be writing quality papers in no time.
definetly one of the smartest people ive ever met, the fact he could be doing something so much more helpful to himself, but chooses to teach is very inspiring
Amazing teacher, extremely intelligent. It is very admirible that a man that could be making much more money with his intelligence, is dedicated enough to teach.
Set up the foundation for PSAT/SAT testing even though I didn't understand it at the time. He explained the literature well but talked about economics too much
Simply a brilliant teacher...way too smart for freshmen English which is why many of them consider him too dificult/liberal/unclear.
smart guy... made me enjoy the books as much as he did and that's a great quality
Nice man Mr. OC yeah moves at a fast tempo but he is a very intelligent man and he shares his wisdom...
Best teacher we have...it is a blessing to get to learn from this enlightened man.
This man is so intelligent that he's worth more than anyone at Bosco. What can't this man do?
Unbelievably brilliant: the OC is a man to admire, & he cares about students outside class... he's changed the world for the better because he's changed me.
i didnt get an 'A' but i learned so much and he is one of the best at Bosco
too idealistic for his own good. Above-average teacher though
He is a really great teacher and person. His class war quite difficult but I still enjoyed it.
Mr. O'Connor is probably the best teacher I know at Bosco. He is always there for you and truly cares for ALL of his students. He is the epitome of a teacher!
I think its physically impossible to hate this guy.....His class is amazingly hard yet nobody can honestly say they hate him...
He does show some orotundity by giving vent to his loquacity through extraneous bombastic circumlocution... but that's why we love him!
