P Stelly remains the best educator I've ever had. His passion for history as well as his engaging teaching style brought context beyond the lessons to our class. He puts the onus on the students to prepare and take charge of their learning (thus his class is more challenging that others who might spoon feed students) and that really prepares students for college and beyond. He is always willing to help struggling students and only asks for your dedication and effort in return.
He knows his material very well but tests are very hard and he can sometimes go too fast when teaching a lesson
Paul is one of the most outstanding teacher when it comes to preparing for college. You may realize this when you didn't read the chapter and end up failing your first or second exam. It's all good because he will throw in a funny funny Friday joke to make you feel better about your lack of motivation.
Mr. Stellpflug was an amazing teacher who know so much about Government and Politics as well as European history.
The tests are moderately hard, and if you graduate from Britton University and expect to be spoon-fed you're in for a rude awakening, but Mr. Stellpflug will prepare you for college and the AP test. He's incredibly enthusiastic and does a fantastic job contextualizing the constitution and discussing modern events. He's very willing to help struggling students and wants to see you succeed, but he wants to make sure you earn it.
Memorable teacher who makes an effort to connect with his students. He ties content to unforgettable examples from contemporary or historical news sources and first-hand experiences. ALWAYS TAKE HIS CLASS. Worthwhile.
Very relateable, and knowledgeable about the subject. Will treat students like people who can make their own decsions on what is necessary for them to learn the material; doesnt baby you.
The main concept I learned from Stellpflug's class is this: there is no "best" system for doing things. Thanks for noticing the importance of the smart kids.
One of the coolest and smartest teachers at the school. Excellent teacher as well. Go Palmer!!!
He teaches you to understand and apply concepts, rather than memorize facts you're going to forget after the test. He's very nice and easy to get along with.
A nice guy and quite laid back, but he teaches history very well. He really teaches people to think, not just spit out memorized facts.
