Please we really don't like french that much
Madame Saillard is an extremely sweet and caring teaching. However, I don't feel that I learned anything from her class and I feel as though my french honestly regressed this year.
She believes that she is an excellent teacher when in fact she teaches very little and expects too much from her students. Her tests are incredibly hard. She rarely is available for extra help. And she just doesn't teach.
she's VERY enthusiastic about french. she really encourages students to perfect their french. "WRITE OUT" she says. she was right about that, because i didn't write out and my grade slipped a little near the end. if you dont have a good memory like i do, you should write out or else nothing will stick. she's great at bringing in food to treat us to a little smt smt special once in a while, and you can get a good grade if you do your homework and study a little before quizzes. no big tests. :)
she's adorable but the honors class is HARD. she does make an effort to make sure you get a good grade though. she convinced me to drop down a level and it was the best decision ive made for my grades
shes hared if she doesnt like you your screwed and she doesnt give many tests and big projects so a few bad grades and your grades is really bad
She is a very nice teacher! She wants you to do well and is very passionate about the French language. I have her for 2H and while it is certainly my easiest class it is the most boring. However, I am learning a lot of French. And one more thing new freshman. I do not need this method but I am telling you in advance. Write Out!! You will here those words all the time for the first half of the first semester!
i really like how she teach but i always have a odd feeling in her class. its like everyday is a test day. her class is my least favorite class right now. ( but she did help me learn alot of important stuff inside and outside of class) i really dont think shes a great language teacher, or mabe its just high school.
very helpful. very passionate about success and the french language. one of the best and challenging ( in a good way), i have every had. just try and dare i mention....WRITE OUT!!!!!!!!!!
euhm. saillard is saillard. she loves you if you try. so TRY!
Saillard is the most helpful and passionate person I've ever met. She really loves her job and her students. I learned a lot of french in her classes.
very understanding teacher, she wants you to do well, it just depends on if you want to do well. if you work hard, you do well. speak in class and ask questions(in french of course) and make an effort to learn, if you do all of those things then the year will be a good one
she adores french. she also listens to her students all the time. like if the class doesn't understand the material for an upcoming quiz, she will move the quiz to another date.if you study for her quizzes, you'll be fine... but seriously, study and "write" out as she says.
What can I say, she is so intese, yet so helpful. She keeps class interesting.
She cares a lot about her class and truly has its best interest at heart. Problem is she'll talk you up so much that you feel like AP and SATII are going to be easy but she doesn't really prepare u for them. Hint: study vocab because she wont teach you that.
Not that great of a teacher, she has this annoying concept of pre-teaching. In other words, sneaks up topics we dint go over in class on a quiz. Then she gives us lectures about how its hard at first but soon well be like her 4aps! Terrible lady...But she does give answers to any questions we ask so she deserves some credit.
Mrs. Saillard is incredibly passionate about French and about her students. Her only flaw is that she sometimes gets carried away telling us how wonderful we all are (as people and as French students). She just makes you feel great about yourself, your brain, and your French. After three years with her, my whole class is fluent or semi-fluent in French.
She really cares about the students (maybe too much). A little insane about the grammar, but overall, she is helpful and wants you to succeed (even if you don't care so much).
She's nice, and VERY willing to help, but she's kind of boring.
Too much passion for the french language. Loves anything french too much. Strict on grammar. Pretty Helpful though. And shes pretty nice.
great once u get used to her... realy helpful and CARES
Mrs. Saillard is a teacher you appreciate most when you have other teachers. her passion drives the entire French program at east. She is always willing to help
THINKS SHE IS ALWAYS RIGHT! HOW ANNOYING! She was a pretty good teacher for low French but higher levels still need teaching!
Cannot understand why students are not as passioonate about French as she is. We just take it cause it's mandatory. Tries to help everyone, though.
Needs to actually teach grammar... not just assign it. Spunky.
She is very passionate. Her passion leads her to talk to much about mustard.
She's sweet, but not as good of a teacher as she was for Fr.2
Mrs.S has spunk, and is very nice. She pushes her students to do their best.
coolest teacher ever!!!she's a hard worker and really cares . Go FC!!!...
Challenging!! She should def. be a teacher since she loves what she does!!
I work so hard and still get a C. Her class is so hard.
She loves her students but she never really seem's to teach us.
Good teacher, but the level of difficulty changes due to courses.
Doesn't teach well and believs studying french is the meaning of life
Don't like her. How can any one be so optimistic and cheery?!
a bit bonkers, but she means well & really knows her stuff & is a good teacher
