As a long-graduated student of hers, I agree with most of the negative comments on here. She's by far one of the worst educators I have ever had (and that's including 10+ years of college and graduate school). It really boggles the mind that she actually wins awards for teaching. The AP history class I took with her was a joke, and her teaching was an abomination(if you call teaching reading directly from text books during class time). Shame on you, NJ.
She is such a great teacher well in my aspects. the work she gives is so easy and the tests....they r jokes compaired to the work sheets she gives
She seems to not have a clear grading system. She does not announce any exams, but instead expects you to come prepared. Do not take her class, as I did wrong, do not repeat my mistake.
She is way to proud. Way to happy in the morning. Annoying. It's as if she tries to dictate notes to fast.
This class was alright. Mrs. Stewart is a nice person, but i did not like her teaching style. We never finished books we read, we had things due we didnt know about, and she wasnt very helpfull.
She was awful. Not helpful, played favorites and was annoyed when you asked for help.
Congradulations "NJ Teacher of the Year!" She is so awesome and I'm so glad that I opted out of taking the honors course!
ms. stewart is The Best ss teacher ive ever had, i actually understand history..shes gotta be pretty good since she just won Teacher Of The Year in the district
