P. Leary was a pseudo-physicist with a BACHELOR'S degree in Chemistry. She had lackluster knowledge of physics, and it was obvious she barely knew anything past introductory pre-medical physics at a typical public university. In fact, she lost grasp of basic Geometry/Integration because she struggled when it came to measuring area under position-vs-time curves. She skips things she doesn't like, then takes forever on rudimentary Newtonian Mechanics, cramming the rest of the material unfruitfully
She is brilliant. Exceedingly brilliant. Sometimes, it's difficult to keep up with her, but if you even slightly mention you can't follow, she'll review the whole thing just for you. She's strives to ensure you have a complete understanding; you can go to her before school, after, or during lunch and she'll happily spend the whole time clearing your doubts. She is the quirkiest and weirdest teacher ever, in the best way possible. I wish I could have her for college, haha.
She's infamous for being the craziest teacher at the High School. EXTREMELY knowledgable about EVERYTHING (loves Jeopardy), but her AP Chem class was hard. She didn't give you a lot of time to study,
She know's a ton of stuff, but doesn't realize that her students don't yet. She expects you to already know everything and doesn't explain anything very well. I hated her class so much!
I had her for physics and it was a long year to say the least. Her tests are hard and she doesn't give you a lot of time to study for them.
Wackiest teacher I've ever had, but among the best. She knows her stuff and knows how to teach it. Not to mention that she's insanely funny.
Amazing teacher. She really knows her stuff and is always happy to help her students. There's a lot of work to be done, but she's a relatively easy grader so it all balances out. Overall great class.
She's a great teacher, loves her job and knows the subject. However, the workload is hefty, and the tests aren't always the easiest. As long as you put in the work, you'll succeed.
WOW youd better enjoy science! seven page front and back packets! lots of math, i had a hard time but if you enjoy science youll like her! shes helpful but odd
Very nice lady! kinda kooky but in a good way! LOVES chemistry...its her passion, but watch out for hard tests and alot of packets...youll learn alot though
