 I'm sorry I couldn't really appreciate you until after you were gone. I think I'm so upset because I know a lot more students could have benefited from having you as a teacher. You once made me cry in class--you yelled at me for not trying hard enough. But reading comments from other people on how profoundly you've touched their lives made me realize you cared.
