He is a perfect teacher, and very helpful, and I am glad to have learned from him.
He is the best teacher I have ever had.
Test are extremely different of what is discussed in class and textbook
He is a very good teacher.
Mr.VanEnk is a good history teacher. He lectures a lot, as well as uses multiple video clips throughout his teaching. He assigns a lot of working and a good amount of reading. The key is to pay attention and to get your work done. If you do that, the class should be very enjoyable.
His class is hard, but if you pay attention and do all the readings you should be fine. The quizzes and tests are a fair amount of hell, but for the t/f, you should know test-taking skills and know all the aspects of a topic (not just 1 or 2 things). He does cover everything you need to know pretty well-- with an interesting view point. He's a good teacher, especially since he admits that teachers exist to manipulate us.
its not that it is poor for easiness, it is just a challenging class.
This man is absolutely brilliant. I worked harder than I have ever worked, but I got an A in his class and learned more than I thought possible. Van Enk demands excellence and gives it in return.
I would say that he is probably my favorite teacher, but his class is extremely hard. Expect a lot of homework (readings) and hard tests/exams.
He is a most excellent teacher, but very challenging as well.
his class is sooo complicated. i mean. the class is whatever, but the homework, and me not being able to comprehend it, it's kind of hard to me.
I think he is one of the best teachers I have ever had. he gives a lot of homework but it is worth it. Anyone who gets an A in his class should be proud of themselves.
No teacher has ever been as positive to my high school experience as this guy. Getting an A in his class is a challenge of the first degree. Makes City High special, he does.
He could be possibly the hardest teacher at City, but Mr. VanEnk is a great teacher. I have remembered everything from his history class, all the way to his random outbursts.
Very hard but, an awesome teacher! He knows what he's talking about but, it's almost impossible to ace his class.
If you are lucky enough to get Pistol Pete for your history teacher, you should be very grateful. Few teachers at either the HS or college level are this good.
He knows his subjects EXTREMELY well, like many teachers at City, and he makes sure we learn the lessons. He has forests of homework though, and he's quite unapproachable... he doesn't relate well at all to his students on a personal basis, though as a
Very tough, and lots of worksheets. But he gets the lesson to you.
