Sadly he retired.
Why, oh why would the school make him an english teacher? He is poorly suited to teach an english course, let alone a high school english course. I literally learned nothing from being put in his class. Not kidding. I learned nothing that year. His class was a joke. I put maybe a hundredth of the effort I was expecting to put into a high school class and got through this class easy. He is nice though. He just is not suited to actually teach a actual class. Go back to coaching :D
Cappy was an inspiration, a force, that could make even Shakespeare sound cool to a teenager. I remember a saying on his blackboard-"I cried because I had no shoes until I saw the man with no feet."
It has been 35 years since I was his student, and I carry him in my heart each day, he gave me a love for poetry and encouraged me.
well hes a funny man.... good football coach and we are winnin it all this year
Cappy is a great coach and teacher, he is always helpful and openminded
Cappy is the greatest. Very passionate about his subject and about learning in general.
is a great guy but overall he is a hard teacher and a hard football coach but other than that hes just an awsome coach and teacher
I had him in 1978. he was great then & is great now.
An amazing, amazing teacher/my old Adamsa house leader who is easily accessable and clearly is passionate about teaching
CAPPY IS THE GREATEST TEACHER...HE LOVES HIS STUDENTS AND PUSHES THEM TO DO THEIR VERY BEST!!
Has no time for time for his students. He teaches his class like he coaches football... poorly. But he still means well so I'll give him that.
YOUR MY FAVORITE FOOTBALL COACH IN THE WORLD, I LOVE U CAPPY
