Mr. Dodson rushes through calc material far too quickly and leaves many confused. He pushes students way beyond the point that he actually needs to. So many come in for help that it's nearly impossible to get your questions answered. I've never spent so much time putting effort into a class, and I've never received such a low grade (my first C). I did get a 5 on the AP exam though, and I suppose that's all that mattered. The material really wasn't that hard; Dodson just made it hard to keep up.

MR. Dodson is an incredible man and teacher. He works harder than any teacher i have every met. His class is difficult and you have to put in the time but i guarantee he is putting in more time than you and he is always there to help you. If you have him, you are very lucky.

He is the best Math teacher I have ever had and probably one of the smartest people I have met. Incredible teacher, super clear.

He will brainwash you into loving him. AP Calculus will take over your life. He makes a lot of puns and tells the best stories. It's hard to get help from him though.
