Mr. Vorkink is without a doubt one of the best teachers I have ever had the pleasure of learning from. He works you really hard, and makes you read a lot of dense, challenging material, but he expects you to arrive to class perplexed. He guides you through discussions perfectly, knowing that his students aren't expected to understand the readings entirely. Make good, insightful points in class, ask thought-provoking questions, and show that you are passionate about learning, and you'll be fine.

Most influential teacher in my four years at Exeter. This man taught me how to think. Always challenges you. Knows seemingly everything. I have infinite respect for Mr. V. It's a privilege just to be in his class.

very hard grader- he seems to think its his mission to single handedly get rid of grade inflation- but a great teacher-his social ethics class is one of the best courses offered

V is one of the best that Exeter has to offer and he is badly misrepresented by those with weak and feeble, arrogant minds, but he is simply amazing. I absolutely love this guy.

No concept of how long homework takes. Just read exodus 1-20, it will take you less than an hour when in fact it took everyone twice as long. Fun guy though

He really made us think about the readings that he gave us. The grade he gave me brought my entire GPA crumbling down, but I had a good time all term.

Love the class period. The papers make my brain hurt so much. THE PAIN!!! Watch out! Being within a 50ft radius of him will lower your grade. I Like the topics.
