Ms. Dion is an excellent teacher. Although the tests are hard, you should expect some difficulty as it is an honors class. It is not an easy A, but if you work hard you will do well. Ms. Dion is also very nice and is willing to help you during lunch if you are having trouble with math.
Homework is easy. However, the tests are much more difficult than the homework. You have to either really understand the concept or get a tutor because what she teaches in class is not enough. She does give help and her answers are very clear.
She is a great person and a knowledgeable, flexible teacher. If I didn't understand something she would take the time to explain it to me until I felt comfortable with the concept. I really enjoyed her class and I learned a lot.
Good class, but requires Homework to be checked and she doesnt post the key until 9:37 PM or something similar a lot of the time....
Teaches straight from the textbook. She rarely lets students answer her questions. She answers them herself, and teaches the minimum. She doesn't go in depth. The homework is easy, straight from the textbook, but the tests are very hard. You need to study for them. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Great class, slack food code, long and easy to sit through presentations.
Great teacher, really kind and thoughtful. She's really laid back about most things, and has a pretty good sense of humor. I highly recommend her
Ok here it goes: If you want to learn and be successful in this class:
1. Study a lot because she doesn't teach at all. She teaches straight from the textbook so really, math class is useless.
2. Tutoring (If needed)
Teaching all from textbook
she's a good teacher. her presentations are always well done and easy to follow, although they can be boring at times. she is always willing to help those who need it, and will be willing to "walk through" problems with you. makes herself available
Uses the textbook too much and doesn't teach that well.
She knows her stuff. Helpful and nice. Thanks for a good year.
She is an easy teacher, though lacks something very important- the ability to break free from a structured curriculum and her habitual routine lectures. Making the students enjoy the lesson is not that hard to do. For starters, she can ask students t
Really helpful. She always has good reviews and help after class.
she isnt that good with students, but she can teach. I really personally dont like her, but whatever
Personally, i think she TEACHES well, i understand everything BUT she really scares me, shes very strict and intimidating at times.
Boring, says 'guys' a lot. Don't think she's that nice personally.
Boring, but AP stat with her is a ridiculously easy class. However, She actually checks your homework, so you can't BS it. Just memorize the notes, and you'll ace the class!
Ms. Dion always offers help after class and before tests. Thanks, Ms. D.
classes where a little boring, not the best math teacher
Needs to take classes in public speaking cause she is soooooo boring
Dion is not a bad teacher, but her attitude SUX. She wouldn't let me take AB Calc cuz i got a B in her class and turns out I got As in AB with Deggeller(da best
Some may say Ms Dion is uptight, but I have seen her be very cool and friendly. She is a great teacher, I really learn from her. She presents info very clearly
Should stop saying" stick with me guys" every 2 sec. Class is really boring
Very good teacher. Very strict and old school. Needs to relax a little bit. Other than that - a very good teacher. Teaches material well.
I had Ms. Dion for two years...not the most exciting classes, but she was knowledgeable, and fair in her class policies.
