I love love love Dr.Wieck. He is one of the smartest teachers that I ever had. He also the ONLY teacher I ever had that not only tells students to make a change, but is also trying to make a change himself with his pension case. Keep it up Dr.Wieck!!!!!!

Dr. Wieck, and I use the word "doctor" loosely, has a very boring class. It smells of old people, is either too hot, or too cold, he is very sarcastic, energetic, and it is sometimes uncomfortable due to his old age. He will spend most of the class planning his lawsuit against the Board of Ed., then try to cram things into near the AP test date. 80% of the time you'll write essays & do vocab, 10% of the time you'll present that work, and 10% will be a study hall. Useless if you want to learn.

Not sure what the others mean by their whining. This is a hard course, but it is SUPPOSED to be a college course. It might be others mad at Dr. Wieck for fighting for the teacher pension.

A heck of a teacher and this guy is helping save the old age pension of all the KY teachers at the same time!!! Amazing teacher and amazing human. Wish I had more people at this time like this to look up to. Class is lots of essays and vocabulary, dbqs, but when he lectures (not sure what the others mean here) you become part of it. Knows the material and there a bunch to cover. TAKE THIS for the experience!!!

This class is hard, but I'm learning a lot. We have a lot of material to cover, but I feel it's getting me ready for the test in May. The experience with Dr. Weick is good, so far.

Dr. Wieck is one of the worst teachers at Manual. Although he is knowledgeable about APUSH he is an awful teacher. The only way you will learn is through your textbook. An average class is him sitting on his computer while the students read the textbook and do vocabulary or write short essays which he doesn't even read. He puts in minimal effort as a teacher and its almost the end of the semester yet we've still never had a lecture. I would recomend doing anything to avoid his class. Ull get a B

Needs to retire. Very nice man to talk to individually, but he is too dedicated to teaching and the AP test. There is way too much reading from the textbooks, he does not really understand you are not his only class. There are tons of vocabulary words, anywhere from 100-300 he assigns at once, and he makes you write essays until your hand falls off. Good prep for the AP test, but he could chill out a little. Take it only if you're willing to dedicate your life.

Doc Wieck's class must be the most helpful and interesting history class I have ever been in. I can finally learn history without any pain. All of the assignments that he assigns are helpful. He doesn't assign "busy-work" and he gives you multiple days to work on assignments so that you can manage your time without being stressed out. He doesn't waste class time with boring lectures but always has an interactive class. You wouldn't believe how happy I am to finally have a good history teacher
