Gentlemen, you need to learn to SPEAK the language of math!! Drat! It's that simple, folks! Seriously, where did they dig this guy up? Apart from him being a ridiculous man, he's an even worse teacher. I'm surprised SJ has kept him as a teacher after all these years. If he worked in a public school, they would have fired him after about a week of "teaching."

Just put a tire around me, douse me with gas, light it up and push me down a hill. Honestly, this is the hardest course I have ever taken in my four years at SJ. Not because the material is hard, but because Laborde is the most unorganized, unforgiving and discriminating teacher I've ever seen. He will make fun of you in front of everybody if you don't understand the material, and you will never finish his tests in time (P.S. You can't go after to finish or ask for extra credit work). The extra help after school isn't worth it either, he still isn't very clear. He makes it a very hostile, humiliating and nerve-wracking learning environment. The fact that he's still employed as a teacher shows that anything is possible. Seriously, how has this guy not been fired yet? If you get him, transfer out of there immediately or you might as well turn to teaching yourself the material through the homework.

Mr. Laborde loves to act like he is a caring teacher, but in reality he always has a snark grin on his face after making his students feel terrible about themselves through public humiliation. Grading is a joke, tests are too long. Do your hw to pass

Raul Laborde is perhaps the worst teacher i have ever had. He shouldn't be allowed to teach children. He creates an environment in which the students are afraid to ask questions because he humiliates them. He is condescending and mean to kids.

He is a horrible teacher. I dont understand how he is still a teacher at the school. He cares too much about the minor things rather than actually attempting to teach us what we need to know for the upcoming test. #FIRELABORDE

You know, before this guy I liked math... Then I had him. He takes off points, not because I got it wrong, no because he doesn't like my work. And not because I didn't have any, but because he doesn't like that I do it horizontally, or I put the equals sign where he doesn't like it. His tests also often take longer than the time we have! His explanation are unclear and he insults you if you ask questions. I don't like getting 60's/70's even when I get the right answers...
