Mr.calleja is the best guy ever. However, he is oblivious. Kids have literally made phone calls in the middle of class, and he has no idea.

Awesome guy that really shouldn't be teaching high school. He is oblivious to absolutely everything such as TALKING on the phone during class but he gives lots and lots of extra points on everything.

Ricardo was my Spanish teacher over 20 years ago.(time, where did you go?). Back then, much like what I see students saying today, he was very knowledgeable, caring, and dedicated to being a true educator.

Let me say this about Calleja: he is a kind, funny and fair person. DO NOT slack like many do in his class! If you show to him REAL dedication and study for tests, the class will be VERY rewarding.

It's an easy class, but I really don't learn anything. He is often overly loud for no reason and needs to learn to control his students.

Not only is Senor Calleja the best spanish teacher you will find, he is arguably the best teacher at BHS period. I extremely enjoyed my time with him in Spanish IV H during the 2005-2006 school year. He does NOT bombard his students with too much homework. On the contrary, he goes above and beyond to design creative and interesting assignments (many are even based on movies viewed in class). Tests are a breeze if you study. Calleja is extremely knowledgeable, helpful & cares about his students.

Very very very cool, nice guy. His class is not book-directed, which was new to me. But I did learn a lot. Even though I almost never got chocolate.
