Mr. garcia is a good teacher and is very knowledgable, he is always availible for help
Great teacher, moves to fast for a class that is supposed to be easy.
He is very nice but it is very confusing, especially in the beginning of the year with homework and received many study tables in the beginning of the year, I am fine with this but instead of telling me what I did wrong he would tell me "write in your textbook" and had to use trial and error, or sometimes randomly through the year he will give me them and won't tell me why. I personally do not like the class, I feel there is a lot of favoritism in the class too. Best part is the jokes and songs.
Mr. Garcia is a good teacher. He makes class fun. The only problem is it is hard to follow the class, at times it can go by to fast or he just isn't teaching the lesson well.
Mr. Garcia was a good spanish teacher overall, but made an easy class difficult which should not be. He is not very clear at times with the homework. Overall he is a good teacher but has some flaws like everyone.
Mr. Garcia is a very good Spanish teacher. He keeps me focused on Spanish throughout the class with his jokes. Also the songs help me to remember Spanish terms. Mr. Garcia should give more feedback on the writing and speaking portions of the test. This year I improved my Spanish writing and speaking skills.
He is a good teacher, teaches well, knows how to keep the class fun
The way he groups the homework assignments is helpful because you have multiple assignments on something like possessive adjectives. One major problem though is the misspelling of simple words such as weekend. That little red squiggly line means something is spelled wrong Mr. Garcia so spell check it. Try to fix that it is embarrassing
I thought that Mr. Garcia taught the material in a decent way. He made an easy Spanish class into a class that was very stressful because of his grading ways, which is one thing I did not like. Overall he was a good teacher with some flaws.
Mr. Garcia is a very nice teacher who tries to get the class engaged. I've learned a lot in his class but one thing that needs to be fixed is the songs. I haven't learned anything from the songs other than having something to waste about 2 minutes of class singing it when someone messes up. Great teacher but still some basic things need to be fixed. He also spells complete and worksheet and weekend wrong.....
Mr. Gardia is a great teacher who makes learning fun and easy, while still challenging. He keeps us engaged and uses his humor to help us. His songs are great.
Mr. Garcia is one of the best teachers I have in Freshman year. He adds Spanish learning with comedy, which makes the class much more enjoyable. Although his exams can be hard, his knowledge and teaching ability helps me pass that class.
Overall very nice teacher. In the beginning I did not understand a lot of what he was saying, but once you pay attention it is a fun and interesting class. I love the songs and jokes as well as the extra help that he offers if you need it.
Mr. Garcia is a funny teacher that has great ways to teach his students. He helps us with pronunciation with funny jokes and lets us have a good time. Sometimes not everything is explained too well and some fall behind. His songs help us remember our vocabulary and memorize it. Sometimes there can be a little too much homework considering what else we have due for other classes. Mr. Garcia is a great teacher, but there is some room for impeovement
Sr. Garcia is an excellent teacher who is very funny but has room for improvement. For example, I find that it is difficult to understand the homework because he only puts it up for about 1 to 2 minutes. I also find that it is difficult to understand half of what he is trying to explain but none the less he is still a very good teacher and I am glad he was my freshman spanish teacher.
Sr. Garcia has taught me so much in Spanish. He has taught us tricks to remember things about words in the language and ways to say/write the words. He may not be clear on instructions in some assignments sometimes. His class is very challenging and we learn something new everyday. The exam difficulty is good because it keeps us challenged. The textbook use could be better. His information is really helpful. There is laughter in his class which helps us to enjoy the class and what he teaches.
He is a nice teacher but is not that clear with giving instructions
e provid enough feedback on the written and spoken work. Maybe use the book more to help students have something to study off the the textbook. All the jokes and others thing Sr. Garcia says is helpful its makes me learn the pronunciation. I got better with spanish after having Sr. Garcia as my teacher.
Sr. Garcia is a all around good teacher however, has some points where improvement is needed. For example the tests, the tests are too easy in my opinion and we should not go over the exact same test with answers moments before the actual test. The homework in many cases is very repetitive, but helps. I wish we did not ask each other the questions that are on the board all the time because they are often the exact same as last week. Sr. Garcia is a good teacher and just needs a few touch ups.
Mr. Garcia is an energetic teacher and loves joking around. He teaches you by mispronouncing words and making funny jokes. Overall he is a good teacher and he has a unique way of teaching.
Sr. Garcia is a good teacher. He seems like a very intimidating guy because he is jacked, and low voice but he is really just a big softy. He will keep his class interesting with original rhymes and songs to help you learn the language, but his homework just feels like busy work, and it is very time consuming and not very challenging. I wish he would come up with assignments that helped me learn better, not just me filling in blanks in a workbook.
Sr. Garcia is an average teacher. However, he cannot control his class. Therefore, his students are not able to learn Spanish as well as others. He provides a limited amount of review, which causes his students to fail many quizzes and tests. His songs and phrases are very catchy, but do not help at all. But I now have a better understanding of Spanish because of Sr. Garcia.
He is good the only real thing that I wish he would do better is that he speaks louder and clearer, and when he is presenting notes take a little more time so everyone in class can write the notes down.
My experience with Senor Garcia is that through the entire year me and him have been progressing together. i think Mr. Garcia has the best intentions to really help but to me his way of teaching was just not the best for me. If I were to change something I tell him to teach us about the homework we will have the day he assigns it and not make us figure it out by ourselves.
He does provide good feedback on spoken/written work and his songs and jokes are helpful. To make the class better, he should sing more songs. I am better at Spanish now.
Mr Garcia is a good teacher but his class is hard.
Mr. Garcia is a really good Spanish teacher and his jokes are really funny and make me learn more. I like how he teaches us and quizzes are very helpful.
Sr. Garcia is a good teacher that has taught me a lot in Spanish this year. I have a lot of fun and learn a lot in his class. He is very funny.
I enjoy having Teacher Ricardo Garcia as a Spanish teacher.
Mr. Garcia's joke's are the best part of the class, they help you learn the class better and the songs help make the material easier to understand. Overall, you are lucky to have him as a teacher if you get him.
Mr. Garcia is one of my favorite teachers. He never gets mad, but instead makes jokes that makes you remember your errors. On a teaching basis, he makes jokes but gets the material through. Considerate and patient, Senor Garcia is a great Spanish teacher.
Sr. Garcia's class is very fun. He is a good teacher and has lots of funny songs that are effective at helping you remember things. His jokes are pretty good and make the class laugh. I am much better at spanish after having Sr. Garcia's class.
mis tus sus. His class is good but sometimes he just expects you to know things he did not teach to the class.
Mr. Garcia is a mediocre teacher. He doesn't really grade homework to examine true Spanish skills. He has a good sense of humor and on certain subjects in Spanish, he can teach well. I think he should create more activities that help us become better students overall. None of the songs have ever helped me throughout class, they usually are just sung for fun with no true fundamental meaning behind them. I started out with no recognition of the Spanish language but have significantly gotten better.
Well I've had Garcia for H3-4 and H5-6 and as long as you are on his good side throughout the year it won't be too hard..and for some odd reason he likes to pick on the Mexicans who already know Spanish which I find odd lol..and if you understand his jokes I'm sure you'll have a lot of good laughs and makes your day more enjoyable..in all he is a decent teacher but a great personality
one of the worst teachers at Serra, he doesn't teach Spanish. gives the class pop tests and quizzes on material that we have not gone over yet. he hears someone talking he just assumes it is someone. Ppl fail tests and AP tests cuz he doesn't teach
He may not teach you much but he's one of the best teachers at serra. great guy and always makes class interesting. makes you want to come to class.
Im in Mr.Garcia's Honors Spanish 5-6 course this year. Its my first year having him, and boy, was I in for a treat. As usual, I feel that the grammar portion is easy to grasp, and that most lessons ar
Ah HO-HOOO, dont be a gangster and just pay attention in class, great teacher - TRIA
