I mean i like him but he puts the entire class to sleep. I've seen half my class sleep through tests before. I don't think he has prepared me well for the regents but we will see. He is very knowledgeable but teaches his class as a lecture and gets mad when others start asking questions and stuff. you basically have to sit there with a pen and paper and write word for word if u want to do good. Honestly, if you do that you will be fine and eventually get over it all and enjoy the class.
Nicest guy I've met & great teacher
Mr Montalbano is my favorite teacher at Xaverian and one of my favorite people
Not only among the best teachers I've had, one of the greatest people I've ever met period. He's a brilliant teacher and will go ou to his way to help people who try and are respectful. He makes the class very interesting too. If you study the tests are very fair and you will do well.
he is very smart and is one of the best teachers i had in my life i loved his class he s funny i still talk about his actions to this day his test are a copy from the notes and hw
an anecdote every other line found a new perspective of history
Fair, brilliant, interesting, helpful, and funny (especially his mannerisms). Sometimes I question what he teaches and the tests can be difficult, but definietly 1 of the top 5 teachers in the school.
One of Xaverian's best. A great man who'd do anything to help a student. Thanks Mr Montalbano
A great teacher and a wonderful human being. Deeply cares about his subject matter and students.
One of those rare teachers that truly cares about his students above all else. A great teacher and a great man
good guy. never had him as a teacher but had him for homeroom in senior year. great knowledge of baseball and history, a nice friendly man
He's a genius and a nice guy. And even better, he got me a 5 on my AP History exam.
A great teacher, a great man, will go down in Xaverian's all of fame. However, he gets me dizzy, NO More coffee! drink juice
His knowledge of history is only surpassed by his knowledge of baseball, specifically the Brooklyn Dogers.
One of the best teachers Xaverian has to offer. Truly an intellectual!
A man who puts in an uncountable amount of hours after school with Mock Trial for the few months it takes place, a man who holds class during lunch so his kids can do well on AP exams. What more can I say - he's great
He is a true teacher in every sense of the word, who relates to his students but never ceases to challenge them intellectually. Not afraid to throw in a baseball allusion (Dodgers 1955), he gets respects because he gives it first. A truly great man.
A great teacher, an even better man. One of the best that I've ever had.
