Richard Peterson is the G.O.A.T. Finishing his career like a g.
Mr. Peterson is amazing!!! He is very intelligent and funny as long as you are on his good side. If you are a good student you will have no problem in his class. Even if you have like an 85 he will round you to an A if you deserve it. He knows if you work hard and will help you if he can. He's not always the best at explaining, though, so make friends with people in your class to discuss questions.
Great guy. An avid golfer. If you go in to talk to him daily, get to know him, and he is truly a tough teacher, though. ALL BAD REVIEWS ARE BECAUSE THEY DID POORLY IN HIS CLASS!!!!!!! This class requires work, so don't work and then complain. I had him two years and either loved or hated every moment. I learned chemistry extremely well though, and am proud to have excelled in his class.
Richard "Dick" Allan Peterson is an amazing teacher but he is very difficult and often times confusing. When we first start a unit, you will never understand what's going on, so it helps to buy a textbook or invest in a tutor to get ahead. If your are struggling, don't worry cause he is very helpful. He may scare you on day one, but that's just to assert his dominance. As the year goes on, you will realize he is a great teacher and a funny guy :)
But still..... Dick is hard
VA TE FAIRE FOUTRE ENCULE!!!!!!!!!
Mr. Peterson or "Dick," as he promotes himself, is a DUI-convicted sot, the antithesis of a good teacher, and a poor excuse for a man. Himself a failure who dropped out of university after flunking an English class, he now harbors a deep psychological need make others feel the same depths of misery. This odious, sadistic sham is of no use to most students. He is among the four worst teachers I've ever had, and that says a lot: three-fourths of those have been fired. Reminds me of R Berman, HMS.
A great great teacher! I loved his class and, though it is more fast-paced than students are used to, you will learn so much about chemistry and it'll stick with you. I still know my solubility rules to this day! NaNO3? Soluble because all nitrates are soluble. He'll prepare you for the AP test no question- most of his kids usually get 5s. If you have the opportunity to take his class, do it! It'll be one of the best choices you make in high school.
He is a cool guy. It's simple. If you want him to like you and you wanna do well in his class, do the work and be prepared. Do not slack or talk in class. Other than that, he is a pretty entertaining
Great chemistry teacher. sometimes assumes we know information that we don't but he is fun and his class is good
He really doesn't teach but we are just smart, but we still love him!
I came into his class with the established mindset that it was going to be rigorous. However, I soon found out after the first tests that if you are willing to devote time to study, all's good!
He might be the teacher who taught me most. His lectures are great and the notes are clear and helpful. Prepares extremely well for the AP exam. Interesting, unique individual and excellent teacher.
yikes... chem honors is probably the hardest class i've taken yet. However, it has really changed the way i learn for the better.
Peteylicious!!! Zues LOVES Lady Gaga. La La He is a good teacher. Ga Ga I learn a lot. Oo La La. Thats how we do it in peteys class.
Yes he is hard, but he will actually teach you things. And you'll remember them too.
Mr. Peterson is an amazing person and the best teacher I've ever had. Although he might freak out once in a while he always returns to his humorous nature. Loved his class.
Odds are if you don't like him then you don't belong there...and he will make that very clear. I completely agree with him there are way too many kids in the honors program at Chaparral. AMAZING.
You will do well I you are "Into the subject" and sign up for Chem 1&2.
I had Mr. Peterson as a tutor and he was awsome and i dont even go to Chaparral.
Some people like him, some hate him. If you are as unscrupulous as he is, you will probably think he is great!
