He is great for some, but was terrible for a student like me. He killed my motivation by constantly making fun of me as a teenager. Perhaps he thought it was tough love, but it was detrimental. I was afraid to ask questions or take risks in his class. I was afraid of being picked on by him, so I stopped trying to be creative or try hard. His grading was inconsistent and unfair. He seems to play favorites.
Tried to relive his teenage years through the students. Seemed overly interested in the boys, if you know what I mean. Jerry Sandusky syndrome.
A great teacher back in the 80's... probably still a lot of fun! A good influence- I'm a teacher today!
he is the reason i am a teacher today - thanks mr grigsby!
He is a great guy and you learn a lot. Ask him about Mary Poppins.
