A very nice guy who unfortunately it would appear was not burdened with an overabundance of intellect and as a result tends to think he is much smarter than he is. His usage of various vocabulary words is generally incorrect but not so much that it affects the experience of learning. The real problem with him as a teacher, as he is pretty good, is that he does not have a clear understanding of what is important and consequently spends a majority of time on trivialities.

Unless you really try hard, you're not going to get an "A" in his class. But I've l probably learned more from his class than any other class I've had.

he is such a wonderful teacher ! He is definitely tough, but he prepares you SOO welll for the AP test.. Be prepared for a tough class, because it definitely is not an 'easy A' class. Actually, it's very hard to get an A in that class. But your writing improves sooo much and he's just so helpful, and just a brilliant teacher overall. He definitely makes the class worthwhile and I don't think there are any slackers in his class, because with him, you can't really slack off. Consider urself lucky

Mr. Caughey is pretty hard, but still very fair. He is a really good teacher and prepares you well for the AP exam. You are really lucky if you get this teacher.

LOVEEEE HIMM :] he's new this year, andd i really love him. even though the vocab and the lit divices do get a little old, he still makes up for it. i always look forward to his class :) def. my fave teacher. You're lucky if you have him :)

Mr Caughey is the coolest guy ever!!! like he is constantly funny and have never laughed so much in a class. but its a good thing in which his jokes add to the learning process. His class is hard and he has these lit device assignments which are somewhat annoying (i wish he gave us a break once) but he really seems to care alot about his job as a "life learner" and shows that if we dont understand, then he is failing as a teacher. reallly cares :)

he's cool. but he's really sarcastic, although it is pretty funny sometimes. it's a tough class, but he really cares about preparing you for the AP English exams and for college.
