I won't be able to fit everything I abhor about him here, but I'll try. I have him for Political Thought, a topic he knows nothing about. He's frequently said, "this is philosophy; there's only one right answer." He imposes his own politics and opinions on the class, and while he claims his class is discussion-based, if you say anything other than his opinion back at him, you're wrong. If you try to criticize anything, he'll obfuscate the conversation and give you a useless non-answer. 0/10.

Had him for Law. Cynical humor, usually interesting in class, not too harsh on anything besides cell-phone use. Bad with technology. Frequent quizzes but nothing you really need to study for if you pay attention in class.

He gives really annoying projects that are real wastes of time, and can be offensive with his jokes sometimes. It's pretty clear what he wants you to know though.

To like Mr. Collins, you have to be okay with a rather obnoxious sense of humor, and a list of very dull and useless projects that do nothing but soak up time. Boring lectures.

Mr. Collins has very high expectations and is really compulsive about his rules. He gets the points across, just does it in a stranger manner.

If you go to him he's helpful. Sometimes unclear though. I think everyone is exaggerating the difficulty as well.

Yay Robert Collins! The things he says are so funny. But a bad teacher who gives work that takes 5 hours, then says it would only take him one when you complain

He is a fantastic teacher, if a bit hard and sometimes disorganized. His passion and interest in the topics is better than anyone else at LHS.

We did most of the learning out of the textbook. He takes forever to grade papers. He was a funny guy and his class brought good times and lots of busywork.

Mr. Collins is incredibly inconsistent. The only good part about taking his class is the opportunity to laugh at his incredibly ridiculous analogies.
