He learned how ta teach years ago and teaches that same way every year, if that doesnt work for you (it doesnt work) then ur screwed.
He often assumes we know things that we havent been taught yet, i think this is partially because when 1 person understands, he thinks we all do.
wow this guy is so dumb he couldnt pass the regents if he had all the answers my class teaches him and all i do is stare into space & ignore him hes never right
It is so hard to pay attension in his class! I swear I am going to fail the Math A this year!
I never know what he's talking about, so I spend all period trying to figure it out...then he tells us at the end (sometimes) and I can't remember how to do it.
Really nice guy, but takes a long time going over stuff, and when he's finally finished going over stuff you are more confused then you were before.
Mr Costello is the man, if you can't get what he teaches, you're stupid, because he tells you how to do it all.
He's good guy but needs to teach more or less in one class period.
The curve is definately a good thing, but it should probaly be based on his ability to teach. That way would could at least all pass
He teaches us math using advance college terms. I have no idea what he is saying. Also he speaks in a monotone, ablsolutely no variation in voice.
Mr. Costello is quite possibly one of the worst teachers i have ever had. He does not teach and he also refuses to go over material the day before a test.
i took the math A regents in june, and got a 91, but no thanx to him
He needs to actually teach. We're not all brilliant mathmaticians, we're just kids trying to pass.
I had Mr. C for SP 9th grade math. Thanks to him i did great on the Jan. regents! Very helpful IF student approaches him and always has string handy!
Needs to actually teach the students and not assume they can learn by osmosis
What a lame guy. He didn't teach us much, everything I learned I knew from before or taught myslf
He is one of my fav math teachers! I had him a couple years ago for math 4. One of the best math classes I have ever taken! Now I am thinking of minoring in math
