I had Mr. Fischetti back when he worked at another school, in 1998. He was the most incredible teacher I've ever had and the only person that helped me to understand math. Still, to this day, he is my most memorable teacher that had the biggest impact on my education. Yes, humor is his specialty, but it keeps the kids focused! I never laughed harder than in his class but equally never learned so much. He takes the time to ensure that every individual student learns. We need more like him!
Can anyone tell me if he is the same one who used to teach at St John The Baptist about 20 years ago?
Fischetti probably has one of the best senses of humor I've ever seen. Hes incredibly witty but does so to make you understand. He really puts everything into perspective. You could learn alot from him. As teaching goes, he is very effective in helping you to not only do the work but to also grasp the material. Anyone who disagrees should really reevaluate their outlook on life.....
Probably the best teacher I have ever had. I am currently taking his AB calc class and everything he does is to help the kids, some people can't take his jokes but that's be cause they're just soft. They don't understand his humor, but he is full of wit and I can tell I have one of the best years coming up in his class because I haven't stopped laughing yet, our school systems need more teachers like Mr.Fischetti
Anyone with more than one braincell can see that Mr. Fischetti means no harm. He is very sarcastic and I guess most people don't get his wit, I think he's hilarious. Personality aside, he's a fantastic teacher. Math was always my worst subject...I usually got Cs and Ds, but in Fischetti's class I had an A. His class is certainly not an easy A, but he knows exactly what he's doing and is able to make the subject matter easy to understand. He's easily one of my top 3 favorite teachers of all time.
Mr. Fishetti, is by far one of the funniest teachers ever, i hate math and he makes going to that class a great time. if he was my age me and him would get along great his humor is just like miine
I agree that he is rude and arrogant but Mr. Fischetti is as funny as they come. Even if he is making fun of you, you can't help but laugh because it's nothing personal he does it to everyone. Plus his stories are hilarious and so exaggerated. 30 minutes of the 45 minute class is spent talking about b.s. yet I learned more from Mr. Fischetti than any other teacher at Connetquot.
awesome teacher. i had him for ab calc. he made me laugh all the time and i got a 5 on my ap test. he's sarcastic but it's nothing compared to college. grow up and toughen up a little.
I always laugh when I went in his class because he is a miracle comic. It's a miracle how he thinks he is so funny when in REALITY he is NOT! Oh and in my experience he was NOT a good teacher.
he is so funny... you'll laugh everyday, and at the end of the day, you should do good on the regents, because he's a good teacher
Fischetti is a great guy once you get past the ostensibly sick sense of humor. he's hilarious if you realize he's ALWAY LYING. he really has a good heart if open your eyes.
All these people below me are right, which is exactly why i like him, he has a sense of humour, stop crying and get over yourself guys.
Fischetti is awesome and hilarious, he may tease u or seem mean at first, but u can tell he honestly cares about his students and wants them to do well, he has the best stories and is a great person
i honestly think mr fischetti is the funniest person i have ever met.
This guy is great. Innumerable tales, and a pretty darn interesting way of teaching.
lol fischetti is awsome. the guy is so hilarius. he make the most random thing hilarius.
he makes all of his students feel worthless. how he became a teacher at all, i couldn't tell you.
Now both my kids have had him,...Good teacher,...we recommend him
H's great as a teacher and he is totally hilarious! I am so glad I had him as a math teacher.
this man is so funny... he'll rip you apart with his sarcasm but he isn't truly mean... good teacher
he's the only math teacher that gives the lesson straight forward, with alittle bit of comedy dashed in, creating a great working environment...
I am in College now but Fish. and I go way back. He is an amazing man. Although he may be sacry at first trust me he cares about his students. An A in my book!
does anyone really know what an intergral and a derivitave actually are?
