Mr. Lemire was by far the best history teacher in the school. He was extremely entertaining, class was always interesting and he got work done. He rarely gave out homework, and the worst thing about his class was that his tests were always really hard. I hope you have a good retirement, Mr. Lemire!
Mr. Lemire is awesome. He knows what he is teaching and he knows his stuff well. Too bad he is retiring this year.
Fantastic. History was never so fun and interesting and he never gives homework ;) I can't believe how much I've learned. Best History teacher at CHS.
Easily the best teacher @ CHS. Doesn't give a ton of work, but you learn A TON.
One of the best teachers I've ever had in my entire school career! I highly recommend him!
Mr. Lemire is the best teacher that I've ever had. He teaches in a way that you don't forget. He's a lot of fun.
he loves history, but he goes to fast with his information and isn't always clear. history was easy for me to understand but since taking his class, i leave his class confused. he has favorites too...
without a doubt the best teacher at CHS. he just loves the subject so much that he makes you excited to learn it.
Mr. Lemire is an amazing teacher and is very enthusiastic about history! He's funny and he I learned so much in his class. If you dont understand something, he will help you out.
He was the teacher that got me through HS. Even outside his class he's there for his students; don't be fooled by his "gruff old man" demeanor, he's one of the nicest teachers at CHS.
greatest teacher I've ever had in my life and probably will ever have
Caring, attentive to student needs, but doesn't structure homework, etc. Likes to say "review", but expects it to be done. Loves pop quizzes. Will definitely prepare for AP exam. Likes to pick on peopole, but it's all in fun and he DEFINITELY knows his subject. Loves baseball/softball players :). Talk Red Sox and you got him.
GREAT TEACHER, even for someone with high standards. Teaches in a fun, unique, and overall very successful way. Fun to be around and doesn't sweat the small stuff but is still fair. Actually taught me with a fair grade in my worst subject. It's too bad he is retiring D:
Mr. Lemire was the best teacher I've ever had and am likely to ever have. He is funny, amusing, and above all a great teacher.
I got a 3 on APUSH, and pretty much its cos of Lemire; I was in H2 sophmore year and had Staveley 1st sem... Lemire saved my AP score.
:-) 5 on APUSH, and I BSed the essay; proof that even if you don't like history, he'll make you a genius (at least on AP standards!)
4 on APUSH because of him! I had him all year tho. If I had him soph year I probably would have gotten a 5.
Best teacher I ever had; after having Staveley he's the only reason I got a 4 on APUSH this year.
Flat out best teacher i've ever had. He makes history so interesting.
AWESOME teacher, fun class. Almost positive I wouldn
I have no idea what the last rater was thinking; Mr. Lemire is probably the most helpful teacher at CHS. Not only in class, where his notes are awesome, but also outside of class.... And he'll write you a great reccomendation; I'm pretty sure his recc. helped me get into my top school!
Hey! So I was also in the WHII Honors class; loved this class! He's soooooooooo fun!
I was in his freshman class this year; Mr. Lemire is the best! He starts out scary, but he loved our class! Beepski!
There definitely is a reason why he was voted most likely to win at jeopardy and best lecturer...
He's so ancent he was like there for everything, thats why he knos so much. He's rlly nice tho and tells a lot of stories...
I heard he's retiring soon; that's too bad, he was a really good teacher. His classes are interesting and informative; while I don't really like history, I still enjoyed his class.
I agree with the one below; he shud teach a senior class!
I wish he was teaching Euro! I'm not taking hisory next yr but I would if he was doing a senior year class!
Who gave him all one's? That's kinda mean; Lemire's the best!
I miss L's class... I had him 3 years ago and he was awesome!
I don't kno if he liked our class too much, but I defintly learned alot. He's a college professor too, so his class will help you for college!
Lemire is the best teacher at CHS! I heard he's been there since they moved the school from McCarthy, so he's really old, but he's still awesome!
I didn't do to well in his class, but he was really nice about everything... I felt kinda bad. I did learn A LOT though. I agree with everyone else, he knos everything!
Currently a college sophomore, and really, I wish Mr. Lemire taught all my college classes! That man is the best!
Takes ten million years to return papers, but it's worth it. He really knows his stuff.
Loved his class! He's so random at times, but he knows like everything!
Totally old school, loved his class. Take any and every opportunity to be in his class!
Mr. Lemire is a pretty cool guy. He's like ancient [and probably lived through everything he teaches, because he knows EVERYTHING] but he's still pretty down to earth. Can be scary at first, but thats just an act.
This guy is the best teacher ever. Even if you don't do so well in his class, he's really nice. And you get to do letter quizzes all the time!!!
Mr. Lemire is the best!!!! Good teacher and a good person! =)
Mr. Lemire is without a doubt the best teacher at Chelmsford High. Not only is he a genius, but he can TEACH well. Most teachers don't have experience in their own subject area; he really is a history scholar. He also is a super funny teacher, and is really nice. He is also extremely patient, and even if you draw snakes on his board everyday, it will take him months before he REALLY yells at you. PS Don't actually push him that far; He's too nice
Mr. Lemire is by far the best teacher at CHS. If you get the chance to take his class, do it! He's super smart, and knows EVERYTHING! He has an awkward sense of humor at times, but is still awesome!
Mr. Lemire is CHS's best history teacher, if not best teacher altogether! His depth of knowledge is astounding, and he is extremely nice as well. He is definitely a role model for me,
Mr. Lemire is my favorite teacher! He is not only a great teacher who loves what he does, but he is also incredibly interesting. He cares a lot about his students, and wants us all to do well.
Mr. Lemire is pretty much my favorite teacher of all time. His classes are incredibly interesting, and he always has a letter quiz handy. His tests are pretty easy, and the essays are easy too. I'd highly reccommend his class to everyone. His best class is definitely US I, but thats because he's so intersted in that period himself. Some people think he's intense; it's just because he's not only a teacher, but a true scholar. That's pretty rare these days. He's also very commited to his students.
Just have to say, I took his Euro AP class only because he was teaching it, and it turned out to be my favorite senior year. I don't think he's teaching it again, but if you can take ANY history class with Lemire, do it. One of the best lecturers EVER EVER EVER.
Mr. Lemire is the best teacher I have ever had. His knowledge of history is amazing, and he explains it to every student with incredible clarity. Not only is he a great teacher, but he is also a great guy. He is universally respected and admired by his students. I miss having Mr. Lemire as a teacher after having him for the past four semesters.
his class is wicked awesome. he lectures most of the time, but its ALWAYS interesting. one of the best teachers that i've had and he has a good sense of humor :]
He's pretty hard but his lectures are so amazingly interesting you would have to be asleep to not learn. The fact that he's hard makes you want to do well. I acctually sit in A and B block and look forward to history class!
Definitely the best teacher I have ever had. Incredibly smart with some of the most interesting lectures you will ever receive. Not always the most outgoing person but get him talking about sports and he'll warm right up. Mr. Lemire is terrific.
the man smartest person i've met. Incredible rote memory on eveything from sports to history to politics. Harvard level teacher
