He's a pretty good teacher but does tend to favor girls over boys. The work load is very moderate and the only thing I had trouble with in his class were essays. Be sure to use AP structure!!! He does birdwalk a lot, so try to stay away from asking him about subjects like sailing or vacation (unless you're trying to put something off). Overall I liked his class, and I hope that he has fun in retirement.
Hilarious guy who knows his stuff. Rambles a bit, but he's old and has his mind elsewhere. He's rooted in his passion for boating, so try your best to stay out of that subject range and you'll stay on task (sort of). He looks like Santa Claus, and even has that friendly twinkle in his eye. Best if you're an Honors student, because he favors them over his normal. Very trusting, and the work load is easy. He loves writing essays, and gives great feedback. I'll miss him, now that he's retiring.
had the funniest stories, was very fair with his discipline.
his class is so boring. he shows little to no enthusiasm as he teaches and everything seems as though hes had to repeat it a thousand time. which he probably has. however if u get him to go off on a tangent u can waste most of the class time on that.
Greek roots are super fun. Essays are super easy. And the tests are a cinch!
very good teacher, love greek vocabs, hard tests, easy essay grader, boring class, fun story-teller.
Though he is lacking in popularity, he still holds a great deal of intellect. Unfortunately, he does not teach as much as he knows.
Greek vocab taught me sooo much!! Use it all the time especially now in college!!
