This guy could care less about how you are as a student. If you have this teacher, you're on your own. His low effort of taking care of students is laughable and his passion for teaching and helping students succeed is laughable as well. If you have him, expect no kindness and only rely on your ability. If you have questions, just hope another student gets the material. Your effort does NOT matter, its your math skill as an individual because he shows no mercy to his students. He's like a robot.

This guy is legit! he will f you in the rear end if you arn't a good student in his class. once you get past all his crud, you find out he is a really nice guy. he opens up about his life to a class that he likes. Ask him about the "Chitty Chitty bang bang" story. so funny.

He knows his stuff, but is extremely disrespectful. I do not care what a student's grade is in class, the way he treats them if they fail a test or two is completely unacceptable.

He was a great teacher and always very helpful and funny the only times he was ever mean was when a kid was being rude to him or another student.

Mr. Sorvig is honestly not a good teacher. He's extremely rude, calls kids out during class, and has absolutely no respect for others. He doesn't care if your taking a test or working hard, if it's 3:00, he'll even rip your test up because he needs to go home right away. I've never failed a class in my life, but the fear of him as a teacher has pushed me away from my math studies. He has absolutely no tolerance level, and is not passionate about helping his students whatsoever.

Sorvig, or as I like to call him, Sorviggles, is the best math teacher I've ever had, by far. Yes, he can be and often is extremely mean and seems to be uncaring, but he really does care. It's the peo

He really seems to hate some students, and doesn't care if it shows. I watched him belittle a student for asking too many questions. She never asked another. Sad, huh?
