I've enjoyed my year with Mr. Vigeant. He knows how to have fun with the class and how to teach effectively. I consider history one of my weaker subject, but that didn't stop me from getting 90s on all the tests. Odds are if you think he's strict it's because you were doing something stupid, and you couldn't be bothered to laugh with him as he called you out for it.
Not sure where the harsh reviews come from. Out of the three History teachers I had at Saint John's, he was by far my favorite. As long as the student takes notes and listens in class, the tests won't be too difficult.
fun class, but he is a tough grader. he gives all the smart kids who are known to be smart good grades.
he has zero tolerance for shenigans. Never had him as a teacher but i was in french above him. we were playing cherades and jumping up and down. Shook the Flavian ceiling. came upstairs FRIGGIN PIST
PC grad so i gotta give a shout out for that.... Anyways hes a fair teacher. Study his lectures and its a good class, pretty easy. I took contemporary US History so i thought it was interesting.
It really did go thru my house...haha this guy was awesome.
Vigeant is a great teacher. He tests stright from his notes and his tests are easy. He is a funny guy and all you need is the notes to pass.
anyone giving this guy a bad rating must not be good at lax or not show up to class; he's the man; 2002-3 jr year us hist; underground railroad
Mr. Vigeant is a great guy and an outstanding teacher. Be good to him and he'll be good to you.
