In 1999 I took Mrs. Horne's geometry honors class. Now, 15 years later, I still remember how worthless Mrs. Horne was. I remember her screaming at students for not using your "highlighter pen" to highlight the answers. This was a big deal to her. Significant portions of valuable class time were taken up by this garbage. And for what? So she can save 2 minutes at home grading papers? I can't imagine the damaged she's caused over the years. Hopefully she's dead and in the ground.
Ms. Horne had a reputation for being tough. I ended up taking her for 2 semesters. Failed the first, aced the second. She was tough but she's the best math teacher I've ever had. I started to get it
I had Ms Horne in 1996-97 for Trig and she had a good rapport with the students in my class. She made the most difficult problems easy. I really enjoyed her class.
she made the hardest stuff easy to understand she was one of the best
Had Horne in 1997, one of the worst experiences of my life. It seems as if she has a personal vendetta with students. She is NOT interested in your education.
She is a wonderful teacher. I learned a lot from her. Mrs. Horne makes sure the the students don't make careless errors.
She is very strict, but she teaches well. She is very weird. She opens the A/C even during December, and I was sitting next to the A/C.
once during a quiz i couldn't read the board (i needed glasses and didnt know it) and she was like well u'll just have to fail this quiz, guess u need glasses!
Very strict. Don't talk in her class. Although she's mean, she's one of the best teachers ever.
Very good teacheer...she was htere to teach us and she was such a good explainer...
She was probably one of the meanest teachers in the building, but she got the job done when she wasnt yelling at us.
