I wrote "Trump 2016" on her desk and brought her a Donald Trump poster right before i graduated, best part is she had me sign it. 10/10 teacher would recommend any day.

Mrs. Lux was very hands-on in Ceramics. She also liked to sing, which freaked out a lot of kids, but kept them on task. She's very humorous and encourages student participation.

She's a great teacher, very friendly and helpful. She didn't entirely explain how to do everything at first, making me ask my friends until I established a better relationship with her, but she's very reasonable. I really like her ceramics class, she's good at encouraging creativity.

Such a sweet teacher! I never actually taken her class but she was nice enough to let me sit in her class and do art! If you need someone to talk to Mrs. Lux is the best. If you have time help her out in her ceramics classroom, mostly cleaning but she'll appreciate it and if you're really good at throwing pots make her a couple of succulent pots for her garden at home. I miss her and can't wait to go back to IHS to visit her!

I had AP art with her and she doesn't have a grading rubric....i don't even know how to fix my artwork because all her suggestions seemed to contradict themselves time and time again. I really came out with nothing but practice in the class...she just takes points away with out telling you why...thumbs down

Fun teacher. She is the total bohemian. You will never meet anyone quite like her. As a person, she's fantastic. As a teacher, she's distracted and impersonal unless you're one of her favorites (which I was). There's a reason why: she never meant to become a teacher. She treats you more as a friend and struggles to treat you as a student, which is nice of her but makes it hard to learn. Other students hate you for being one of her favorites (which sort of happens spontaneously). She's a modern artist.
